Reading through the list I think to myself about what types of racial trait will aid me best in this new journey, after all even though I know some things about this game, everyone else should know just as much if not more.
"What is unaligned?" I asked
"When selecting a race you can choose either to have a racial trait from your chosen race or select 1 unaligned racial trait at random, however it is highly recommended that you choose a racial trait rather than unaligned trait because you are able to gain unaligned traits in-game, it just takes 40% times, 20% skill and 40% luck." It replied.
Before I can say anything, it said "I'm just messing with you, you'll need to find out how to get them by yourself, not everything can be handed to you on a plate." giving a shallow laugh as if mocking me.
I have dwindled my choices down to 2, either a Dark Elf for strong burst damage build. or Neutral elf for a more control type build.
"What are the character starting stats?" Depending on the answer I will be able to choose the race I want to use.
"Every character starts with 1 point in each of the starting stats except for luck which is automatically at 5. You have 10 free stat points which you can assign as you wish, the only difference between races is the percentage chance of gaining certain stat points upon level up, instead of gaining free assignable skill points you instead get them automatically assigned based on the percentage chance, a way to imagine it is a lucky wheel, wherever the arrow stops is what stat point you get and the higher percentage chance of you getting that stat point affects the size of the space on the wheel, for example, have a 5% chance will have smaller space on the wheel compared to 10%."
'Well, that doesn't help me exactly...'
"Dark Elf, Deadly." I said, 'I'd rather have burst damage if my skill points aren't even guaranteed.'
"Please confirm your selection." It said before a box appeared.
'Accept' I pressed on the accept button and my character appeared, it looked uncannily like me.
'It' was 5' 11'', with a short ivy league hairstyle in a pitch-black colour, he has wide dark red eyes sitting above his straight medium-sized nose on top of his wide, but thin lips all on his oval-shaped head, with all of this, sitting on top of his broad shoulders, toned arms hanging beside 'it's' equally toned chest above his even more exceptionally looking toned legs.
'I wish I looked like that, well the arms, chest and legs that is, in reality, I'm just slender.' I thought to myself whilst becoming slightly annoyed.
I change my hair colour from black to turquoise and made myself slightly taller at 6'. 'May as well have as much fun as possible' was what I thought at the time.
After changing as little as possible I clicked confirm and away into a game world.
Everything changed, it was pitch-black one moment and a blinding light appeared the next.
"Welcome to Pandora. The world where everything is possible." I heard a female voice this time.
A scene played out, a war between various races was happening, it covered hundreds of different cities on borders between several hundred countries across tens of different worlds, all because of greed, it was said a legendary weapon was found from the primordial ages, when there were only 5 worlds that had been discovered and chaos was looming upon everyone.
A long time ago.
A race was dominating 2 of these worlds and at war with another 1, everyone had underestimated this race, everyone had assumed that they would stop after gaining control over 2 worlds but they were wrong, this race was vicious and bloodthirsty, they had one goal and that was to create war and chaos, it was said that they all followed under one leader and he had the power to control the worlds at his whim and this was all because of an 'Artifact' that he had discovered, it gave him power that hasn't been seen before, after the 3rd world was taken it took the other 2 working together and a war which was fought for over 300 years until the once almighty race was defeated and forced back into a barren and desolate world which was known as the demon world.
It was then added to all history books about the cruel and viciousness of this demon race and the once feared demon king had died in the final battle between the 3 races but his ultimate weapon was not found until many tens of thousands of years later.
While the demon race was hated, the other 2 races, the humans and elves, were loved, they had the reputation of destroying evil, of saving the world from destruction, of course, this didn't last long, after around 200 years they had forgotten all about it, everything those 2 races did was no more.
Until a long time in the future when it was said that the ultimate weapon was said to be found, war erupted in several worlds, but no one had truly known it was spread that the weapon was found in several different worlds, in the worlds it was said to be found war between the countries, happened, whereas, in worlds where it wasn't said to be found, they looked for the nearest world to them and started wars with them in hope they can gain access to this 'ultimate weapon'.
Tens of thousands of years after the wars finished, no one country or world claimed to have the weapon and it was said that the weapon never existed in the first place.
Since then, war had been on and off between countries, but wars between worlds have been uncommon, they happened now and then but it wasn't anything big, nothing that could cause a massive loss for any single world, but wars between countries were always worse, countries rise and fall by the day.
After the scene, it went pitch-black again for several minutes.
