Chapter 20 - New Song

I increased my pacing as I was almost late to record a new song. Waiza hurriedly followed me from behind. Once I've entered the elevator of NNN Records with Waiza, I tried to keep myself composed and breathe without making a noise.

Waiza, on the other hand, breathe hardly that I could hear well since there were only both of us in the elevator and it echoed. I turned around and patted her shoulder. "You've done great so far, Waiza. I'm so sorry that my schedule is hectic."

"No, not at all, my lady. It is my duty to serve you," Waiza bowed her head and slowly managed to calm herself down.

I just nodded in agreement and turned around to face the front again. "What's next on my schedule?"

"It is now three o'clock in the afternoon. You have a recording in ten minutes time. After that, you have a meeting regarding the representative of Purnama for your collections at five o'clock before you are done for the day," Waiza swiped the screen on her iPad to check my schedule for today.

As the elevator door opened once we've reached, I sashayed in the hallway towards the recording studio. Everyone was shocked with my new appearance. I was wearing a green slit sheath dress that has a round neckline. It was short sleeves and was just nice around my knee level.

My medium auburn hair was styled half-up half-down waves. My basic black pump heels made me looked formal yet comfortable. I stared at the glass that separated the producing area and the recording area.

This. Is. Me. Right. Now.

I stepped into the recording area and gave my best. I did not want to waste anyone's time. It only took twice for the music producer to be fully satisfied with my vocal skills. Once I'm done, I opened the door and bowed the music producer politely.

"Ma'am, it's my pleasure to be working with you." The man bowed to me as well.

I nodded and my eyes moved to Waiza's direction. "How much time do we have before my meeting starts?"

Waiza replied calmly. "We have an hour, my lady."

I sighed in relief silently. I turned to the team that managed my song. "I don't want people to know my singing debut yet. The music video.. Shoot it like a story using actors and actresses. I want the media to know my talent first. I want the story to be about a girl falling in love with a boy in school, just like the song. Young, pure and sweet love."

The team quickly jotted it down in their tablets and bowed as an indication of acknowledging that they understood what was needed to be done.
