Chapter 11 - Getting Started

"Are you okay, sweetheart?" Nurhan's question snapped me from the distraction that I had.

I had been thinking of my revenge plan. I knew that I could not do it alone. I need Nurhan's help, Nurhan's connections and Nurhan's resources. However, was it fair? Using something that does not belong to me?

Nurhan held my left hand and kissed it. "Tell me, what's on your mind?"

"Nurhan, I feel like I'm taking advantage of you." I sighed.

This was the reality. If it's not for Nurhan, I wouldn't be able to ride on a business class flight. If it wasn't for Nurhan, I wouldn't be able to wear designer's labels and live in a private property with servants waiting for my orders.

Nurhan cupped my face and stared at my eyes with warmth. "If you feel that way, then keep staying by my side after you are done with your revenge."

"But I'm scared, I'm scared to be in love after what has happened to me." My eyes started to blurred with tears.

He hugged me tightly. "Please don't. I will love you for the rest of my life. I only need one chance."

I wrapped my arms around his body. Maybe, not all men are jerks. Maybe, not all men are dogs. I decided to hug him back without responding to him.

"It seems that you already have a plan, my sweetheart." Nurhan gently stroke my hair. "If not, you wouldn't feel this way."

I nodded. He seemed to know everything that was going inside of my head. Even Ridhwan could not do it. Back then, Ridhwan kept questioning my actions of doing things in a certain way.

"Tasha, how the plan is going to be executed is still up to you. And as for me, I could only provide you the best of my resources and connections." I could feel Nurhan kissing my hair. I never felt so loved before!

Nurhan loosened up his embrace and looked at me. "So what's your first plan, my lady?"

"I want to collaborate with Pearl's X for my shawls debut," I wanted Nurhan to know my first step.

Nurhan raised his eyebrows. Pearl's X diamonds were exclusive. They were well-known only by famous designers. Not all celebrities could afford it.
