"The Pirate Ship" she replied excitedly. He just went along with her and they got on together. The ship went up and down, higher and higher earning screams from the other riders but Melody enjoyed it very much. They proceeded to get on the other rides and played whatever games that Melody wanted to play. Brandon gave in and fulfilled her wishes to play any ride or gamed that she wanted. He noticed she loved the ferris wheel, the shooting game and the roller coaster ride a lot. The final stop was haunted house. Melody was a bit scared to enter but eventually entered. At times when the ghosts were too scary she will immediately hold Brandon's arm and lean her face into his chest. This made Brandon feel delighted.
He let her do as she pleased and by the end of the tunnel she was clinging onto him. He was immensely happy because she rarely took the initiave to be close with him. After walking away from the haunted house, he stopped at a bench and sat down with her still gazing gently. Melody didn't know that the gentle gaze from Brandon has been reserved just for her. No one else apart from his family has seen him smile and be gentle. Even with his family he smiles very rarely.
"So are you planning on hugging me this way until our date ends for today? If so... I don't mind... I will be more than happy to oblige, he said while wrapping an arm around her waist."
"Huh! Oh... no... no... I was just scared from some of the really scary ghosts from just now...she replied trying to release herself from the hug."
Hahahaha... It is okay he replied with a laugh.
"I am happy that I can actually hold you in my arms. It gives me a feeling I can't describe. Well, it is lunch time. Let's have a simple meal nearby before our next stop for our date."
