*Warning there is swearing in this chapter
Yu turned back to his bandmates after his older siblings disappeared into the dense crowd of people. He was met with Mo staring after them in aw, Karu staring at him with his moths hanging open, May's mouth opened and closed and hand was shaking as she pointed at him as if she was trying to say something but couldn't make the words. Yo just stood there his eyes were wide but besides that, he didn't seem to show any signs of being surprised.
May got a hold of herself before the others. "Yu, tell me, are they... your older siblings?" Yu sighed as scratch the back of his head. He'd expected they would find out while they were here but he didn't expect it to happen that quickly, they'd barely been there for two minutes.
Yu sighed again and nodded. "Yeah, they're my older brother and sister." Mo's head whipped around, away from the swarming crowds and stared at Yu.
"What?!" he practically screamed.
"Yeah, honestly you and Ray have very similar personality," Yu said as he walked in front of Karu. "Hey, Karu you ok?" Yu waved his hand in front of Karu's face.
Karu blinked and shook his head. "Sorry I was surprised there for a second what did you say?" Yu stepped back to answer but never got the chance. Suddenly Yu heard the sound of someone yell and glass shattering on the floor. Fights started up all across the room.
Yu grabbed the shoulder of the nearest person in the room and screamed at him what was going on?
Even while screaming Yu could barely hear his voice. "One of the guys from Raven punched Alex." The guy yelled back. Yu click his tongue. When he turned back To Karu and the others he remembered that Karu worked here but by the look on his face Yu guessed that he hadn't seen one of these fights yet. Yu was aware that they usually took place outside of the building so not many of the new people were aware of it.
"Shit," Yu mumbled to himself as he ran back over to his friends. As he reached them a tall muscular guy wearing a black suit. Jumped out at him with his fists raised. Yu instinctively brought his knees up, as it made contact with the man's gut he doubled over. Yu grabbed May and Karu and started running. Yoku seemed to understand that it was time to go, he grabbed to collar of Komaki's shirt and started following.
Yu didn't stop running until they were three blocks away from the building. When they finally stopped May bent of trying to catch her breath. Yu realized he'd been running really quickly and apologized. When Yoku and Komaki caught up to him he relaxed a bit.
"What... was... that?" May gasped as she tried to catch her breath.
"I- I'm not sure, I've never seen that happen before," Karu replied. Yu spun quickly and stared at Karu.
"Wait, when did you start working at Musical talent?"
Karu was silent as he was thinking about it. "Around three and a half months ago, why?"
Yu sighed, this was really an annoying situation. The last fight that broke out in the building had happened a little over four months ago. "Ugh, ok here's the situation. Karu have you ever noticed that Musical talent is kind of divided?"
Karu started frowning as he thought back. Yu was right, there were things at Musical Talent that seemed like they were split. "Yeah, it is divided But I never really thought about it before,"he said. Yu nodded at him. well at least that was one less thing to explain to him.
"A few years ago, there was a big fight between people. After that, people at Musical Talent started splitting into two groups. At first, people would just glare at each other and argue. But about a few months later. One day some people from the two groups ran into each other outside of Musical talent and started fighting. After that things escalated quickly, fights broke out every were. My dad tried to stop them but it never really helped-" Komaki suddenly interrupted Yu by practically yelling in his ear.
"By your dad, do you mean the CEO of Musical talent?!" Yu leaned away from Komaki and nodded.
"That's right". May suddenly came up behind Komaki and smacked him on the back of the head before dragging him away to give Yu some space.
Yu realized that Karu was still frowning waiting for the rest of the story. "Anyway, nothing really worked. About a year ago the two groups agreed to no fighting during official work hours. Although it didn't stop the fights things did get considerably calmer."
Karu nodded slowly. "I think I get it, but I have one question. When the fight broke out earlier I heard someone yell something about ravens what did that mean."
Yu realized that he hadn't explained that part to Karu. "The groups are called, Raven and Lynx, I'm part of the Linx group. Although the Raven group is slightly bigger most of the people in it are jerks." Yu scrawled at the thought of them. "Oh, one more thing. People who don't pick a side are called Neutrals. They're pushed around by the Raven group a lot, and another rule is that you can't help people who aren't in your team. So I would advise picking a side soon." Karu took in this information and took a minute to process this, then nodded.
Suddenly Yu spun around and face the others. "You guys should probably join too. Because your friends you could get pulled into this too, and technically you count as Neutrals so we couldn't help you." May and Yoku nodded, and from the big smile on Komaki's face, Yu guessed that he would be joining too.
"Good, I'll bring you guys to sign up at some point."
