AUTHOR'S NOTE: I got the idea of this novel from another book on Web novels called, "Captivated By You" and a new anime on YouTube called, "GIVEN." You should go check them out.
As the lunch bell rang Yang Yu set off and left the classroom. He was a blur of mint green hair and large round hazel eyes. A nearby group of girls waved to him shyly. He smiled innocently and waved back causing them all to scream in embarrassment.
Yu slowed down as he came close to a less crowded part of the school courtyard. When nobody was looking he climbed up through a window and dropped down lightly on the floor. Yu had found this place a year ago in his first year of high school. The room couldn't be accessed from the hallway since it was supposed to be a storage room for one of the classroom but the door was covered by a large bookshelf behind the teacher's desc. The best part of the room was that it was soundproof so he could sing and dance without anyone hearing him.
The room was completely empty since it was never used so Yu had taken over the empty shelves, piling dancing books and folders of sheet music and songs that he had written. Through the year Yu had also added a small speaker he baught along with a black CD player and an mp3, along with a set of headphones and earbuds. A few months ago Yu had also added plastic water bottles and dyed fruit. Thankfully the room was connected to the rest of the school's are conditioning and kept the room cool in the spring and summer.
Yu did some stretching to loosen up his muscles for dancing then did some quick breakdancing and flips. Although the room was small, there was enough space to do all kinds of dancing without a problem. After he was warmed up, Yu started a simulation of different street dancing and flips, smiling to himself slightly as he did. From the number of books he'd read Yu knew that street dancing was one of the more difficult styles of dancing because of its free moves and because there was so much flipping and spinning. Street dancing was also the style that Yu was the best at.
Yu jumped into the air and flipped three times before landing on one knee his arms splayed out as if he was facing a giant crowd. Yu stood back up and relaxed his muscles again before getting in position to repeat the dance routine again.
Yu imagined the large crowd of people again. This time as he started the dance Yu also started singing. it was a song he called, "Down To Earth." He had written it to go with the dance he was doing.
Different types of dances had different names like Hip Hop and BreakDancing, Yu liked to group songs and dances into groups inside of these groups. Like in the street dancing category he had created a back ally dancing category which would be street dancing done in small spaces or underground dancing matches. the dance he was doing right now fit into that category.
Yu stopped singing and hummed what the tune of the music would be if there was any, as he spun on his heels. He then jumped high in the air and kicked upward causing his body to spin backwards. His head came closer to the ground then it was supposed to and Yu grimaced and frowned then he continued singing. Soon the three flip landing came and Yu landed on his knee again. By now Yu was breathing deeply and sweating a little. The sound of someone speaking to him caused him to nearly jump out of his skin.
