Li Sheng snapped out of his memories when mobile buzzed he narrowed his eyes seeing the caller name.
Before walking out of the room he glanced at the girl once again who is "sleeping" and strode outside the room steadily and shut the door behind him gently.
Zhang jingfei terrified when she heard solid and steady footsteps but the sound went far and the sound of door is heard Zhang jingfei let out a soft sigh.
Eventually she shut eyes exhausted cries she entered the slumberland quickly.
Li sheng while walking outside the room
He attend the call shortly.
"If you don't have anything important to say I will hang up" said Li sheng with his ice-cold voice.
"Hey iam your elder brother but you are acting like a elder brother to me" said the soft voice From the other side of the line.
"Li shing what's the matter" Li Sheng snorted.
"Younger brother where is my respect you forgot I am your elder brother" Li shing said with hurt voice but he chuckled lightly.
Li Sheng caught him off-guard "Li shing stop being clingy "said he is in verge of his patience.
"I heard the news you are looking for Jingfei" Li shing said slowly.
"Her name is Zhang jingfei" Li sheng scoffed.
Li shing : "...."
Did He have to remind me this? " over protective love struck boy "Li shing chided Li sheng in his heart.
but he doesn't say it loud.
"Doesn't You look for Zhang jingfei where about?" Li shing asked sheepishly.
Li sheng doesn't say anything his face was devoid of any expression.
He didn't answer what Li shing asked instead he shot his questions to him.
"I think you have plenty of free time "Li sheng voice was unfriendly as he stroke his hair slightly with his fingers.
Li shing felt chill down to his spine as he gulped hard.
He berate Li sheng in his mind for his distant and disaffected behavior as he mumbled "why doesn't he even as a mercy for his own poor brother "but doesn't voice it loud.
"I am very busy and engrossed in work always you don't have to remind me this everytime whenever I am talking to you" Li shing quip at his younger brother with faint smile.
"I don't think so" Li sheng said with "matter of fact" his tone as hidden meaning.
"Don't get any creepy ideas from your alien brain" Li shing panicked as he forgot to breathe.
"Do you want me to change you from director of Li Hospital from B city to any other countries? Li sheng deep sharp voice rang other side of the mobile.
Li shing always know that it is always impossible to get anything out of Li sheng mouth.
But Li shing doesn't stop to watch over his younger brother as he sent his mens to follow him every where even they can't get hold of him and failed to do so.
This is because he always cared about his younger brother no matter what he won't stop doing this.
Li shing sighed deeply as he said hurriedly. "Okay fine I will hung up now"
"Don't forget to tell me what happened when I get back there" with that Li shing hung up the call without waiting for Li sheng reply.
Li Sheng face was devoid of any expression and his dark deep eyes starred outside the window inside his room.
Li sheng mobile suddenly buzzed in his silent room.
Li sheng narrowed his eyes when he saw the number in his mobile as he take the call
"Boss I got most important details about Miss Zhang jingfei and information about the contrivance behind Miss Zhang jingfei accident" as the voice from other side hesitated suddenly.
"Go head" as Li sheng said serenely.
"Boss when Miss Zhang jingfei father is died mysteriously when she was at age 14 and nobody knows how it is and Miss sent her younger brother to overseas for studies after she turned 16 with the help of her friend family even she moved to overseas when she was at age 18.
She returned to M city two years back as she joined in Mac coperation as secretary of Old Mr. Su Lan.
But suddenly four months before she resigned her job returned to B city back because when she get anonymous call from mysterious caller I think its about her father murderer But she doesn't able to get hold of him.
She even tried to get jobs in various place but because of her uncle family influence all her efforts are ruined totally.
"She got rotten in streets without job thus she faked her identity worked in a small cafe.
But that doesn't last long" as the voice from other side of the line paused.
"Go head" Li sheng voice was cold one could froze like ice when they heard his voice now.
"Boss it's about Tang shoushan"
Li Sheng handsome face turned grim murderously as his dark eagle like eyes flashed a mysterious glint as he clenched his hands into fist.
His knuckles turned pale white.
But Li sheng hide it quickly as his poker face shows devoid of any expression again.
when there is no reply from Li sheng voice of other side of the line spoke again.
"Boss Tang shoushan tried to get hold of Miss Zhang after she returned to B city she returned to old Zhang mansion last before month because of her grandparents Tang shoushan tried to misbehave with her but she stabbed him instead.
As the punishment Miss Zhang was locked inside the room by Zhang family.
May be Miss Zhang heard news of Tang shoushan recovery so she flied from the "house".
Tang shoushan now recovered from his injury completely begin his search for Miss Zhang in full swing after she escaped from the "house".
Tang shoushan send his men's to all parts of the country to search of Miss Zhang warned all the big heads in B city and officials about her identity and not to support her instead hand over her to him.
"Boss Tang shoushan didn't approach you because"
"okay I got it" Li sheng said nonchalantly as he hung up the call.
Li sheng starred blankly at the sky for the long time his face was calm and composed but his dark eyes waved with deep storms inside it.
NEXT MORNING
The golden rays of sun gives bright color to the clouds in the sky.
birds sings to its shine.
Zhang jingfei mumbled over in her sleep when the sudden nightmare hit her.
A man tall and tanned body approached her his eyes where like hawk hunting for its prey he evily laughed at her as he said " you can't hide away from me"
Zhang jingfei body shivered as she clenched her hand tightly into fist digging her palms.
Li sheng entered her room silently without disturbing as he witnessed her restless in her sleep.
He slowly walked towards her bed as halted beside her "feifei relax you are safe"
"feifei I am here by your side nothing will happen to you" as he stroke her hair gently.
He is the man of few words and consoling other out of his world.
But he did it anyway for her and it's not his first time either!!!.
Zhang jingfei let her guard down as she relaxed her breathing was normal once again.
Li sheng went to opposite side of the bed as he leisurely sat down on the sofa as he crossed his legs his one arm rested on the armrest as another on his knees.
Li sheng watched the girl for sometime then averted his eyes from her as he starred outside the window.
AFTER TWO HOURS
Zhang jingfei slowly opened her eyes her eyes flickered like butterflies her eyelashes are dark and long.
She realized the unfamiliar place and reality strikes her.
Jingfei heart is racing as she rubbed her eyes with back of her hands.
"You're awake" she heard a voice that is low and bold cello like sound echoed her ears making her heart go wild.
Zhang jingfei body was stiffed as she slowly straighten her body raised her heart.
Her heart was skipped a beat as her big eyes widened beyond its size her mouth was gaped when she saw the man before her.
The man was so tall and his body was well built one could simply tell his body was well maintained more like a soldier with the ray of sun he shinned like a diamond he was devilishly handsome without any flaw as he crossed his legs sat like a king of the world.
Zhang jingfei gulped hard she even forgot to breath.
When her met his eyes Zhang jingfei felt herself drown in it unable to resist his glare.
Her mind went blank.
"Why why it is happening again" even though she badly wanted to snap out of it but corner of her heart doesn't want to.
"Are you okay? " Li sheng voice rang through her ears again she came back in her sense.
Zhang jingfei nodded vigorously.
Li sheng glared at the girl nodding her head his eyes glinted for a second as he maintained his composure again.
"Where are you from?"Li sheng calmly.
Zhang jingfei wanted to say something but her words are struck on her throat when she heard his next words
"What's your name? Li sheng asked nonchalantly as this was his first time he saw her.
Zhang jingfei froze in her place dumb stuck by his words.
Zhang jingfei furrowed her brows as she glared at him into his eyes his poker face as no expression.
Zhang jingfei mouth twitched as her hands slowly moved to her head scratching her head
Li sheng bat his eyes slowly his eyes curved to as tried control his smile.
"Zhang jingfei" as she said she glared at Li sheng sharply not to miss any expression.
But his face as shown no expression it was calm and composed but powerful aura can't be hidden.
"Oh" Li sheng said bluntly.
"Did he forgot about me?" Zhang jingfei couldn't care less about this.
Zhang jingfei now sat steadily on her bed resting her head against the headboard as she closed her eyes.
Li Sheng glared at the girl his mouth curled up as he smirked at her.
She was so thin that can be easily break and her hair was long now that crossed her shoulders her skin was white as big round eyes are closed now even she many injuries her color and her dark eye and natural eyebrows can't be hidden.
The girl who closed her eyes suddenly opened her eyes straightly starred at Li sheng eyes.
Li sheng batted his eyes innocently.
Zhang jingfei bit her lips.
"It's my mistake I left you alone for your safety does he forgot me because after that accident of his? he doesn't remember me anymore? as she sighed sadly.
But it's best for both of us I just can't offort to put you in danger again let's be like this we don't know each other "as she mumbled in her head.
"Then it's best I shouldn't confuse him that I know him before".
Zhang Jingfei slowly opened her eyes as her eyes met with Li sheng piercing eyes that struck her mind.
Li Sheng understood her thought like what she was thinking as he glanced at her.
He could not help as corner of his lips curled up as he smugly smirked at her.
