A couple days later while Tony was in his office at home he heard the black telephone on his desk ringing.
"Hello?"
"Hui, this is Ip Man," the voice from the other side calls, "can you tell your juniors to meet at Ching's school."
Ip Man then proceeded to tell Tony about how there's some gangsters causing problems at the school.
Creating disruption by locking the gates of the children's school preventing the teachers from teaching.
They were interested in the real-estate and were using forceful measures to take control of the property.
Arriving at the destination Tony saw a large group of parents with their children waiting outside the gate.
There were loud chatterings of complaints among the people as they waited for the doors to open.
The school gate was fenced up by boards that covered every part, along with chains locking it together.
There were also barrels filled with gravel rocks that stood in front blocking the front.
"Hui!" Ip Man calls out seeing the smiling face of Tony greeting out from the end of the crowd.
"Don't worry Master Ip Man, Hui Lik and the other juniors will fix this," Tony calmly reassures Ip Man as he takes a look at the fenced gate.
Soon they hammered away the locks with an ax and moved away all the wooden boards that are stapled there.
Hui Lik, who saw Miss Wong moving the large wooden gate quickly came to her aid.
"I'll help you - careful," he says to her while holding one side of the large board.
Hui Lik is in his early 20s, with his hair shaved on the side and back while short combed back hair in the middle. Wearing a comfortable grey thin sweater coat.
"You're really strong," Hui Lik comments as they both move the large board to the side.
Miss Wong has brown hair that has a strand tied with a white bow in the back. She has on a red buttoned cardigan coat with blue underneath.
She looks at him with a bit of a teasing voice, "Can't I be skinny and strong?"
Putting the wooden board against the side together, Hui Lik claps his hand to cleanse off the dirt.
Then saying to her, "Sure. I'm big but not that strong."
She gives a polite smile to this stranger she just met.
"My name is Hui Lik," he introduces himself to her.
"They all call me Miss Wong," she tells him.
Tony who was putting away the boards noticed there was a lapse of light tension as they finished introducing themselves, fishing for something to freshen the conversation.
"Call me if you need help," Hui Lik saids before walking away to help open the gates.
When the school gates finally open Hui Lik and Miss Wong stand side by side greeting the children.
"Come in," Miss Wong says as she says hello to the students going through the school gates.
"Morning, granny"
"Morning, Principal."
"Morning, Miss Wong."
The children greet politely as they go to school.
Meanwhile Miss Wong tooked a secret glance at Hui Lik who was happily smiling at these young students.
Their eyes met for a second, there was perhaps a sparkle of electricity as they nod to each other in polite courtesy.
In the distance Tony sees some men watching where they are at, "Master, the people will come back tonight. Let's stay and guard at night."
"Okay," Ip Man replies, seeing the men in the distance.
Seeing that the children are all going to their classes now Tony walked over to greet Miss Wong.
"Hello, I'm Hui Liang," Tony reaches out his hands in greeting.
"Thank you so much for today Mr. Hui," Miss Wong takes his hand and bows in gratitude. "The classes are starting, so I'll leave now."
She smiles politely, exchanging one last eye contact with Hui Lik before walking into the school gates.
Tony seeing that his junior is watching with such longing eyes teased him with a playful slap on the shoulders.
"Junior Hui Lik are you…" Tony looks at him in a funny way before indicating with his eyebrows the direction which Miss Wong left.
He was originally confused as to what Tony was talking about. Soon in comprehension he became flustered, trying to explain away.
Waving his hands in decline like a windshield wiper, "Senior Liang it's really not like that!"
His ears were red with shyness as he tried to hide away his affection.
Tony nods in pretend understanding, "Is that so? Oh well, she's a beautiful lady. Since you won't own up, I will approach her for a date."
Tony begins to take slow steps forward in the direction where Miss Wong is heading to her class.
Hui Lik was taken aback in fear and hurried after Tony grabbed his shoulder to stop him.
Seeing that his little junior has taken the bait Tony smiled to himself in humor.
"Don't Senior Liang!" Hui Lik says as he finally grabs hold of Tony's shoulder. Taking a sigh before saying, "I...I like Miss Wong!"
Turning around he hits playfully Lik's side shoulder, "That's right. Don't hide it anymore, even I can see you like her."
"Senior Liang does that mean...Miss Wong," he had a devastated expression on his face.
Shaking his head Tony tells him, "Aren't I your Senior Liang. How can I not help my juniors?"
Wrapping his arm around Lik's shoulder giving a thumbs up.
"Senior Liang does that mean you'll help me!" Hui Lik's eyes were beaming excitedly with light.
When he started learning martial arts from his seniors he heard many legends about the mysterious head senior who teaches them from time to time.
Besides the fact that he beated a champion boxer, he also secretly heard that his senior is a master love guru.
Moreover, Hui Lik even overheard that Senior Leung married his pretty and wealthy wife with the help of Tony.
Letting his arm go Tony started walking ahead before turning his head to say, "Walk one step, look one step. Give it time."
Hui Lik who hears this had on a confused and very puzzled expression, trying to understand the meaning behind.
