For his second year he decided to take a break from managing his business and take a year long vacation. Using his wealth he was able to pay his way into the kitchen of a 3 star Michelin Chef in the US.
His learning speed could only be termed as crazy, as he was able to surpass chefs that worked in the kitchen for years in only three short months.
He was able to easily grasp the knife work and different techniques with his increased muscle memory adaptility. But strangely he found another ability that was really useful in the kitchen.
Since he has a prodigious memory he not only can memorize perfectly the taste and smell out the individual ingredients like burning them into a hard drive. Moreover he can taste out the detailed ingredients that came together to create a dish.
So in 2 short months he was able to perfectly replicate a small amount of the restaurant's dishes. And in 5 months totally stole every innovation that came out of that kitchen. Leaving everyone totally flabbergasted at this insane learning speed.
Using his knowledge during this short 5 months he enrolled himself in various famous restaurants in China for 4 months by using wealth to buy himself in.
Learning the chinese language was not all that difficult since he overcame the major difficulties by flipping a dictionary and a bunch of phrase books on the plane. Hence in a month he quickly reached a fluent level with the help of practicing on locals at every opportunity.
However, the greatest obstacle of learning Chinese was also gaining muscle memory for the various dialects that existes. Everything else was simply a memory game.
After standing on the peak top as a chef of asian cuisines he decided it was time to move on. Another reason he had to leave was because during this period he quickly gained media attention as a "Mysterious Cooking God" that could cook fabulously stunning cuisines.
For the last couple months Tony traveled all over the place from Japan to Europe. In the process besides refining his cooking Tony also learned over a dozen languages to various levels of proficiency.
Despite being away for a whole year from the management of his company the revenue stream still grew to over $670 million dollars. During this time it was the business system that turned the effort.
He didn't do anything besides making a couple phone calls every month and reading the accounting reports.
