Chapter 7 - Chapter Six:

I stayed away for two weeks, locked in my chambers sitting out on the veranda. Staring up at the sky. He told me that I was an eyesore and the entire royal palace was beyond worried, scared that I might be getting sick before my coronation. Quite frankly, I didn't give a damn about the stupid crown, it was never going to give me happiness and it would never make me smile. It was a worthless adornment to me and I didn't need it.

I sighed as I rose from my seat from my view and exited my room, walking down to the temple, which I knew I shouldn't have done, but I was compelled I stayed away two weeks and I couldn't take it anymore. I was beyond tense and I needed him. I spent his time away from the temple that I was better off, but I couldn't resist the pull that I felt.

It was a dull ache at first, but then it grew like a flame, slowly becoming depressed. I didn't want anyone around me, not even my dear friend Azeaze could cheer me up.

I sighed as I made my way to the temple, walking the hall, dressed in my normal attire for this path of enlightenment and I did what I've always done. I got on my knees and I prayed to him, hoping he would hear me. I then got in the position I've always done and slid my hands across the marble, bowing down, flipping my palms up. I stayed that way for hours until I fell unconscious.

*****

I woke up in a dark place, the sky was red because of the setting sun. I realized that I was in the Dreamscape I was in when he first came to me, only it looked dead. The grass was still green and the hills were still as lively, but the way the sun looked made it appear as it was bleeding across the sky. I didn't like it, it made me feel like something was ripped out of this place, something beautiful and precious. I looked around calling out to him, hoping he would hear me, bringing me closer to giving up completely. Then I saw him, standing on a hill, more like a cliff that hung over a body of water, holding a staff his eyes closed. He had his back turned to me so I knew he didn't hear me calling him, he seemed to be in a trance, waves, and waves of pain and depression rolling off him.

So he was depressed as I was...

I thought, looking down at my hands, tears springing to my eyes. I slowly walked to him, grabbing the muzzle of my mask, lifting it up so that my face could be seen, but then I decided to take it off completely as I wanted to do everything else that decorated my body but I thought of my pureness and decided not to taint any of what was left. When I stood directly behind him, I reached out slowly to grab his hand, feeling him jerk harshly, flinging me to the ground. He stood above me with crazy wild animalistic golden eyes and a spearhead at my throat. I stared up at him with wide eyes, waiting, hoping he'd get it over with but I watched as he slowly gained back his consciousness. He blinked a couple of times before he threw the spear to the side, his hand reaching for my face...

"Fledgling..." He said his eyes wide, running his thumb across my lip, his eyes darkening. I responded in a soft moan, parting my lips in the fraction of an inch, looking back up at him. He shook his head frantically, his eyes shut tight. " Please, don't mean like that... It's distracting..." He whispered, glancing at me. He rose and went back to stand on the cliff before disappearing like he did the first time, the landscape disappearing with him.

I woke with a loud gasp rising off the floor looking around frantically before seeing Anubis kneels down in front of me. I stared at his humanoid statue, My heart beating frantically as I was filled with adrenaline. "My lord.." I whispered, jumping up not caring how revealing I was today. I wore this purposely to get his attention, so he'd have no eyes for anyone and seeing as I was a mundane priestess, it was very selfish of me because it wasn't my place to claim him. He watched me silently before sitting down, legs crossed as he sat lotus, watching me with his calm golden eyes. " What is it that you want Fledgling?" He said abruptly, his gaze slowly growing cold and lifeless. He didn't move from the position he was in, nor did he touch me.

I realized that this was harder than I thought it was going to be so I did the one thing that I knew would convince him, I climbed in his lap and pressed my lips against his stone-cold ones, my arms flying around his stone neck. Being pressed against an eight-foot alive stone body had advantages and disadvantages, being against his body made me chilly, but kissing him or even touching him made me warm. I felt him go stiff underneath me just like he did the time I pulled him into a hug. It wasn't until I felt his lips move,  his arms winding around me, letting out a ragged groan, his hands moving up along my back and side smearing the body paint that was done perfectly. I was kissing a statue, strange, yes but besides being asleep this was the only way I could physically as a human touch him.

His hand went down to grasp my bum and gasped loudly, bowing into him, my eyes slightly rolling back. I pressed my pelvis into him, offering myself, an ever-growing crave of lust and desire rising deep within me. With a loud groan, he pushed me to the floor and pinned me there watching as I squirmed, raising my body up to meet his stone one. I knew whatever control he had, he had finally lost it, roughly fondling my body with his cold hands.

Again, I knew how very odd this was anyone who would have witnessed this action would have thought the same thing. I was the princess and the god was manhandling me, I honestly didn't care if I was the princess, as long as I had my Lord I didn't have to worry, not anymore.
