The first one to appear was the God who has the appearance of a man with a buzz-cut hairstyle, greenish brown hair color and lavender eyes. Unlike his normal attire, he's now wearing grey armor that exudes the power of storm.
With a confident smile and overbearing demeanor, Indra loudly declared, "Let's start this damn thing!"
"Indra, not everyone is here yet." One of the Gods from Eastern Europe interrupted him. It was obvious to everyone that he was hostile against the loud God.
But Indra just smirked at him as he turned his head to the right, "What do you mean? He arrived earlier than me."
Shocked by his response, everyone hurriedly followed his gaze and found a handsome young boy, a middle-school student with normal features having a well structured face, with shiny blue-black hair. But contrary to his outward appearance, he has sharp eyes possessing bottomless divinity and limitless superiority that cause people to shiver in fear.
"...Aren't we in a virtual space? How was he able to hide his presence?" One attendee softly muttered but it was heard by the majority of those who were present.
It was just him but everyone was also asking themselves in small murmurs. They weren't just wondering how he's hiding his presence but also why he's doing it in the first place.
In response, the young boy only smiled softly at Indra and stopped hiding his presence, "There's still someone we need to wait for. The Ouroboros Academy is already one of the strongest factions out there. Aren't you interested in what he's going to say?"
Indra's eyebrow raised and he started darting his gaze around, ignoring everyone he deemed weak, and only gave a cursory glance to the leader of bigger factions, "I, indeed, heard that he's going to attend. Where is he? He's not going to hide again like a creepy insect, is he?"
"Why are you so interested in the guy who's not interested in current affairs and just hides among his minions-turned-sex slaves?" A ghastly God from Akan Mythos grumbled loudly, openly declaring his dissatisfaction to the attention of the accursed man they were referring to.
Sadly for him, neither Indra and Shiva gave him any attention and that instantly hurt his pride. But just as he's about to go off, another light shoots up, signifying the arrival of another attendee and because he's a few seconds late and the last one among the more or less a hundred faction leaders present, he gathers all the sights towards him.
With his signature striped green and white bucket hat, dark green Eastern attire, and wooden sandals, Kisuke emerged with a huge grin on his face, "Good day, everyone~! What did I miss?"
Kisuke's eyes immediately landed on the main characters, Indra and Shiva. This is the first time he's meeting them face to face if it could even be called one in this virtual space, but he immediately understood why these two are considered as the frontrunners of world domination.
But aside from that, he also noticed something else that surprised him very much, '...What's this strange feeling?' He asked himself as he surveyed the surroundings more carefully.
Of course, from the outside perspective, Kisuke still has this grin and no one could actually see through what he's thinking. He also made some countermeasures against mind readers as he knew that there were a few of them like Shiva. While it couldn't block ridiculous abilities like Issei's [Pailingual], it's more than enough measure for anything else below that grade.
"Don't worry. We haven't started yet." Sirzechs stepped forward, "Well then, ladies and gentlemen. Shall we officially start this summit... And hopefully, you'll keep it in your mind that we're all here to preserve this world."
Although this is a summit that's attended by the most powerful forces in the world, there are no clear organizers, and was hastily put up because of the accelerating decay between various relationships that might just spark a war they couldn't get back from.
Indra crossed his arms and asked, "Since you stepped up, do you have a suggestion?" Sirzechs is one of the people that Indra respects due to his strength so he allowed him to continue moderating. In any case, he'll only care if the policies and treaties proposed at this summit would affect his desire to duke it out with Shiva.
Sirzechs sighed. He was hoping that there would be proper procedure and decorum to this very significant event but all of it was destroyed by Indra's casual approach to the very serious problem they are facing, 'Haahh... If we go like this, everyone would just speak up over each other when there's a minor disagreement.'
And for all of this to go downhill, all it takes is just one out-of-turn interruption.
"Here~! Here~! I got something~!"
And just as Sirzechs had expected, someone immediately jumped the gun. With a sigh, he thought, 'I hope it's not something ridicu--'
However, his thoughts immediately halted when he recognized the voice and hurriedly turned to the one who spoke up.
There he saw Kisuke happily waving his hand up in the air as if he were a kid who was trying to get his teacher's attention as best as he could because he thought he had the right answer.
Similar to Sirzechs, the others also turned their heads on him with skepticism.
Kisuke ignored all of them and continued, "Instead of doing something as unproductive as discussing policies with no one enforcing them and us just wasting our time, let's get into the heart of what everyone wants to establish."
The crowd parted and Kisuke saw Shiva emerging from it with slow and measured steps, "I don't agree that this gathering would result in something unproductive, but I'm curious as to what you're trying to reiterate. What do everyone want?"
Kisuke could feel a slight hostility from Shiva. He stared at him for a few seconds and the latter did the same until he continued, "Even after going this far, do you still want to pretend that this is some kind of school group project where we pat each other's backs when we accomplish something small? Why bother when all of us are trying to sabotage each other?"
Indra also approached Kisuke and Shiva, taking the third corner, "Hooh? So this meeting won't be boring after all?" He then turned to Shiva and snickered at him, "Rudra, isn't it about time that we draw the proper lines while everything is still at a manageable stage?"
As soon as Indra finished his sentence, a weird atmosphere instantly descended within the virtual space. Without anyone saying anything, the leaders of various factions started sorting themselves out into three distinct groups.
Upon seeing this, Kisuke's grin grew wider, "I thought it was weird, but it turns out you're the one receiving Evie's support, Shiva-san?"
