Chapter 1350 - Chapter 1350 Alignment

As the people within the virtual space moved around, three distinct groups formed.

A large group behind Indra, a small group behind Shiva, and an even smaller one behind Kisuke. Unlike Indra's and Shiva's, however, the people behind Kisuke took some distance from him.

"This would look like we're not accepting him as part of the neutral ones," Shemhazai muttered softly.

"It's fine." Michael reassured him with a smile, "He gave me a word that he won't be staying neutral this time."

"!?" Sirzechs, Shemhazai, and those around them exclaimed, "Isn't that dangerous? If the Ouroboros Academy takes a side now, it's going to be an all-out war!" Shemhazai nervously said. Although Ouroboros Academy is not as big as the other top factions, its members are all top class and they have a huge sway among the grassroots regardless of their affiliations and races as the Academy is the one uplifting and making them capable of adapting to these dangerous times.

'If the Ouroboros Academy takes action now, there's no way of knowing how large their 'army' is. And with the increasing dissatisfaction with the leader classes, they might even pull out a major chunk of other factions' forces.' Shemhazai shivered at this thought and this is why he was so sure that an all-out war would instantly spark if they joined in.

This is also why the other factions are so apprehensive of Ouroboros Academy. While they are a very small group on the surface, their reach is far more than they could ever imagine when they first heard of Sona Sitri setting up an educational institution.

If they knew that it would come to this, they would have never allowed their 'citizens' to set foot on that floating island, thinking that they'd have convenient soldiers in the future. When they realized what the Ouroboros Academy was truly doing, it was already too late. They ignored their own base because they had the power to control them but now that same base is now threatening their position.

No one thought that their education would be that good.

"It's going to be dangerous from here on out. Are you guys sure you want to stay here?" Sirzechs turned to the others who approached them.

Zeus chuckled and just shrugged his shoulders, "That lad scares me too much. If I actually consider the danger, this is the safest bet I could make."

Odin on his side also nodded while stroking his beard, "I also received a fair warning from Issei regarding this. It would seem that he has some idea of what's about to go down." He then turned to his right and looked at the middle-aged man with a mixture of red and blue hair, "I thought for sure that you'd leave the neutral side after that protege of yours started meeting Shiva and Indra's people."

"I had a plan..." Mephisto sighed, "The situation changed so I had to take a step back."

Michael then turned to the last member of their group, a beautiful lady with long black hair tied up with a sun-like ornament on the back of her head. She also has deep black, shiny eyes that radiate with wisdom. She's wearing a typical white robe that other Shinto Deities are wearing but with a golden and much more glamorous accent to it, "I've always thought that you'll be taking Indra's side because of your recent frequent meeting with Wukong. What makes you come to this disadvantaged side, Amaterasu?"

Amaterasu, the leader of Takamagahara, was hiding half of her face with her white fan, "Their offer isn't attractive enough... But now that I'm hearing that Urahara Kisuke won't be staying neutral, I'm regretting my decision now." She didn't elaborate on her reason enough. But regardless of what it is, the other five were all suspicious of her real motives and they didn't hide their suspicion with her either.

Amaterasu ignored their eyes and turned toward Indra's group, "I'm also really disappointed, you know? I thought that I wouldn't be the only lady here." She added while looking at the leader of the Youkai Faction, Yasaka, "I heard her daughter is really close to Urahara's group."

Shemhazai also looked towards the beautiful nine-tailed fox standing behind Indra and sighed, "It's the struggles of a leader. She has to prioritize the needs of her people first before her blood relatives."

Kisuke keenly listened to their conversation and figured that they were not very surprised by the situation.

The moment he appeared in this space, he thought that something was strange with the way people are positioning and the way they carried themselves. Instead of dragging things out, he immediately suggested getting into the final part.

Kisuke thought that he had some understanding of Shiva and Indra's allegiances but turned out that he was wrong.

Behind Indra are the stronger factions all throughout the world. Meanwhile, Shiva only has a third of the factions present and most of them are 'Destruction' and 'Chaos' aligned divinities.

Kisuke doesn't really judge a Deity with the concept of their divinity so he couldn't draw much conclusion regarding Shiva. But a few of them, maybe due to them not being used to it, revealed something to Kisuke that should only exist outside of this world, '...If I'm not wrong, they have an [Evie Heart] somewhere in their bodies.'

[Evie Hearts] are Magic Power generators that the Evies use to give them a substantial amount of energy and depending on its class, it could generate enough power to boost someone's level multiple times and even prolong their combat effectiveness, 'Seraselbes said that it could be transplanted into other beings but also said that a major portion of its receiver would have to be modified at achieve stability. Did they have some breakthrough?'

Kisuke set aside those thoughts for now and went back on the fact that he didn't have any idea that the division of forces would end up like this, '...A miscommunication? Did they assume that I already knew this? They trust me too much.' Thinking that, he couldn't help but crack a wry smile. While he's flattered, this is also very dangerous. 'I have to talk to them in length about this.'

But regardless of the result, what he has to do doesn't change.

"So is it alright for me to assume that Indra-san has the Etoulde's support while Shiva-san has the Evie's?"

Indra and Shiva didn't answer and just stared at Kisuke, trying to figure out what he wanted to happen next. They saw him not standing with the neutrals and thought that he was finally going to take one side depending on the situation and both of them knew that it wouldn't benefit Kisuke and his group to stay away from the conflict since they'll be the first one that's going to be eliminated but both sides due to the threat they pose.

Indra and Shiva looked at each other and without saying a word, they came into the understanding that if they can't have him, the other shouldn't either, and any possibility of that happening.

With that in mind, Indra and Shiva resolved themselves to either protect or destroy Kisuke at a moment's notice, and failure to do so would only give the opposing side a massive advantage.

Looking at them, Kisuke couldn't help but chuckle, "While we're at it, why don't we properly settle everyone's alignment right here and right now? It would be disastrous if a few people were to suddenly jump ship, isn't it?"
