Chapter 68 - This Love

After leaving his brother's apartment. Killian went back to his apartment.

It was just next to the mall on the island. It has three floors and mostly full of students since it was a street away from the public school.

His studio apartment has nothing except the bed, not even a closet or a mirror. Seeing the situation of his apartment, Killian could not help but sigh.

He only sleeps in his apartment, if he needs to eat, he would go out and dine at the restaurant near his apartment, or in the convenient store.

After feeling his stomach grumbling with hunger, Killian decided to go to the mall.

It was past five in the afternoon, even so, the mall he just came in was still full of students.

He was one of them before. He, barney and his brother would sometimes skip classes just to play video games in the mall.

His eyes gloom as he reminisced the past. The figure of him and his brother, blissfully teasing each other were around the mall.

He sighed, there are so many things that happened between them, all he could do now is to reminisce the good times they had shared.

He blew in another deep breath and decided to go, suddenly not in the mood to eat.

He was about to leave when he caught a familiar face wandering around the mall.

It was Louisa Su, the girl was wearing the uniform for a public school with a backpack almost half of her size.

The girl was walking by herself, her eyes seemed to have been glued at the phone on her hands.

He could see people looking at her, who wouldn't, her loose shirt and long skirt had made her look like an orphan. And not only that, her face which was half-covered with her hair and the weird aura around her, would make anyone question if she knows that scissor exists. If this mall was abandoned, anyone would think Louisa as a ghost.

But the girl was not even bothered by the eyes lurking at her.

He wondered if she's with someone, he could not see any of her family around.

He decided to call Barney, thinking that he might have Selena's number.

His thumb was about to press the call button when he heard someone screaming his name.

"Daddy Killian,"

Killian felt his soul leaving his body with shock. His hand trembles as he jammed the phone back in his pocket.

He looked at the source of the voice. His eyes widened when he saw Louisa running towards him, a smile was on her face, and both of her hands were waving at him.

As she ran towards him, the wind pressure forces her hair to slide sideways, everyone could see her face, and the bright smile on her lips.

His feet moved backward; people started to look at him as the girl they thought his daughter excitedly ran towards him.

Killian doesn't want people to think of him as a bad person by ignoring the girl who had just called him her daddy.

So, clearing the perplexity on his face, his body lowered to the ground and welcomed Louisa in his arms.

"Almira," he shouted back.

After being called by an unfamiliar name, Louisa's body frost. She stayed staring as she stood a few meters from him.

He blinked when Louisa took her tablet out of her backpack and wrote down.

"I am not Almira," as he read it, his face flattened.

"And I am not your father," he spoke in a low tone.

They stared at each other for some time before Louisa smile.

Killian got up, at their first meeting, he knew that Louisa is special.

"What are you doing here?" he asked her.

He watches as she wrote down, "My siblings forget me!"

He rose an eyebrow, "So, are you lost?" he asked.

Louisa shook her head.

"What are you still doing here then? Aren't you afraid that your parents might be worried?"

Louisa sighed and wrote down, "Could you bring me home then?"

Killian was confused but, decided to bring her home. Louisa had a phone with her but, instead of calling her parents to pick her up, the girl decided to trust him.

As he was about to take a step, he felt a hand tugging on the sleeve of his shirt. His eyes turned and found Louisa's innocent face looking at the entrance.

He didn't have a car, but his motorcycle is parked in the next street.

'I only have a motorcycle, so we will have to take a taxi,' he stated.

Louisa shook his arm and showed him what she had written on her tablet, 'Can we use your motorcycle?' Killian had set his mind to say no but, seeing her pouting and eyes shining with hope has changed his mind.

He knows it's dangerous, but they still used his motorcycle.

-

At the cafe.

Daniella was pacing around the house nervously while the triplets are on the couch, fear was paling their faces, hands-on the laps trembling uncontrollably.

Their father was on the phone while Selena went upstairs to rest.

'Louisa is not answering her phone,' Evan said.

'Babe, she's Louisa, she doesn't want to speak so it's normal that she wouldn't answer the call,' Daniella spoke, horrified.

'Calm down Daniella,' Evan tried soothing her by patting her shoulder but, Daniella moved and sat on the single sofa.

'What calm down? Louisa is out there Evan! She might be lost in danger or worst; she might be destroying the city!'

Hearing their mother furiously shouting at their father, the triplets realized that she's really mad this time.

Louisa bit her lips. Hoping for Louisa to call or at least message them.

(Louisa, where are you?) she started to worry.

(Aish! Is she scared of a mommy?) brows drew together as she thought of it.

Alexa frost, slowly her eyebrow raised, eyes glinted with uncertainty as she glanced up to the ceiling.

(Wait, did Louisa knows that mommy will forget about the arcade issue if she disappears?) her eyes instantly widened with disbelief.

Hands on her laps squeezed into fists as she finally realized what her sister's plan was.
