Alexa blew out her cheeks and later drew in a long breath.
(Sneaky Louisa) she thought, shaking her head.
Slowly, she leaned to her right side where Leo was sitting, then she whispered into his ear, 'I think Louisa knew that mommy would forget about the arcade issue if she disappears. What do you think?' she said, asking for his opinion.
Leo jerked his head in her direction and gave her a confused look, 'I hope not because that would be stupid,' he let out a harsh breath and continued.
'Mommy might forget it now but, once the bill comes, she will remember it again.'
Ethan who has been listening to his sibling poke a finger on Alexa's side to get her attention.
'Maybe we can hide the bill once it arrived. We can ask daddy later to pay it secretly,' he suggested.
Both Leo and Alexa looked at him with a poker face.
'What?' Ethan innocently asked, wondering about their expression.
'Do you want to be the bearer of the bad news?' Alexa asked Leo with a flat voice.
Leo snickered, his head went behind of Alexa and whispered, 'Ethan, do you really think daddy would lie to mommy?' without waiting for Ethan's reply, Leo went back to his previous position.
Ethan went silent, he slouched and watched his father busy soothing his mother.
His siblings are right, they can't count on their father. So, with that in mind, Ethan took his phone out of his pocket and hid it behind Alexa.
Seeing that their parents are not looking at them, his fingers swiftly moved to ask for help.
'Uncle Ken. We need help.'
Before Ethan could even send it, a figure of Louisa and Killian appeared from downstairs.
Everyone's eyes turned at them, the triplets are about to get up when their mother suddenly ran and hugged Louisa.
"Are you alright?" they could hear the concern in their mother's voice. It was soft and full of love.
The triplets looked at each other, thinking that Louisa's plan might actually work.
Relief has made the color of the triplets' faces to become normal. Finally, they can be at ease now that their mother would forget about the arcade.
But the relief soon faded when their mother strengthened and turned at them.
"Do you all really think you can fool me? You didn't go to school, broke an arcade and even forget your sister in the mall. Triplets, do you have any idea how much trouble you are all in right now" hearing those words coming out from their mother's lips in a deep and scary voice, the triplets' face went pale in fright.
They were about to reply when their father suddenly spoke.
"Why don't we forget what happened today and let's start again tomorrow. How's that?"
The triplets, with their eyes swelling with shock, looked to their father.
"No," their mother stubbornly said.
Out of nowhere, their father cough, his fist was covering his mouth as he uttered the name "James Park."
Their faces full of confusion turned to their mother, and all of a sudden, Daniella's face which was full of rage suddenly softened.
"Fine. Change your clothes and come back here for dinner." Their mother said later to them.
The triplets were astonished but, their body hurried upstairs.
Louisa, who has been standing next to her mother reached for her mother's hand and held it tightly.
"What is it darling?" Daniella spoke.
Louisa with her lips pressed together switches her eyes between Killian and the dining table.
And with that, Daniella understood what she meant.
"Mr. Dane, since you brought my daughter back, would you please stay and join us for dinner?" Daniella politely asked.
Killian was stunned for a moment and later shrugged. He didn't have dinner yet so he decided to accept her offer.
"Is Selena here?" he asked.
"She's upstairs, in her room," Daniella replied.
Killian nodded and without asking for permission, he walked towards the stairs but, before his feet could step on the stairs, he heard Daniella's voice again.
"If she's sleeping, could you wake her up? That woman hasn't had her dinner."
As he walked upstairs, Louisa was following him like she was his tail.
The familiar scent of the house and the small hallway, Killian knew every corner of the house.
As he stopped in front of the closed door, his head turned to watch Louisa walking towards the stairs at the end of the hallway.
When the girl's figure disappeared, Killian's hand laid on the doorknob. He was about to open it when he heard Selena's voice behind him.
'Killian, what are you doing here?'
He turned his body around to face her while his brain was preparing to tease her again.
But all of his words died down at the back of his throat when his eyes saw Selena standing with a small towel on her body. He gulped hard, seeing her shoulders and the water dripping from her wet hair has made his throat dried.
His eyes went back to look at her face, seeing the confusion in it, his lips parted to speak.
'Are you seducing me?' he asked teasingly.
Selena, with her face wrinkling in confusion, scoffed, 'Seducing you? You are in my house Killian, in front of my room!' Selena blurted fumingly.
Killian smirked, he did really miss the anger on her face every time he teases her.
He ticked his tongue repeatedly like a gecko, with a grin of a devil on his face, he teases her again, 'Did you miss me, Mrs. Dane?'
The smile on his lips faded after seeing the towel on Selena slowly sliding down, and before the woman could stop it from falling, it has already revealed her body and her undies.
As she watched Selena sits on the ground with her arms wrapping around her body, Killian took off his leather jacket and immediately used it to cover Selena's body.
