Why she was going there, she didn't know.
Neither did she know half of what she was doing to the car's controls. It was accelerating and stopping on her command and thats all that mattered. Her last driving lesson was a week before her arrest and she faintly remembered.
Her body shivered because of the cold rain she had to run through to get to her house and get Jihoon's car.
And the sobs that raked through her body made it hard for her to have proper control over the wheel.
She hit it multiple times in frustration as she raced through the relentless shower like a madman.
Was crying because of anger a thing? Because it was her thing now. Just like the day her sentence was announced.
That day it was because of Ella,
And now she cried because of Haemin.
What she was going to do when she reached the cinema, she didnt care.
All she cared was that they were going to be there.
She went into the basement parking and just at the far end of it in clear sight, was Ella. Busy talking on the phone, oblivious to Luna's murderous glare.
This is a gift.
She lifted her foot from the break and the car started moving.
A chance for me to finally get my revenge.
Repeating this in her mind like a mantra she pushed down on the accelerator and raced forward.
Ella dropped her phone and stared in utter horror at the car coming towards her, unable to move.
A blue Camry came rushing from the right and just as Luna was 50 meters away from the blonde bitch, it stopped right infront of her.
Luna abruptly pressed down on the break and her car skidded to a stop just before hitting the other car.
Her body lurched forward but thanks to the seatbelt she was fine.
Somewhat dazed by her craze and adrenaline, she slowly looked up and the pink haired driver of the Camry stared back at her with petrified eyes.
Haemin?!
Finally pushed to her senses, fear seeped into her limbs and with trembling hands she put the car into reverse and drove out.
Haemin couldn't let this go. What had just happened was absolute madness and a matter of life and death!
So, he drove after her and followed her to her house. She ran into the house and into the nearest room (which was Leo's room now) and shut the door just as Haemin could get a hold of her.
He knocked, "Luna, please open the door."
"Oh, so it's Luna now? Not Piérce or L.P?!" She shouted.
Haemin stilled, "What? How do you know about that?" He muttered mostly to himself but she still heard it.
"You're so conceited, two-faced and fake! So so fake!" She gritted out with every bit of loathe she could muster.
"Please come out, let's talk face to face."
"Best deed?! Is that what I am? An act of kindness? A charity? Just a mission to you?"
He tried the door handle again, "No, it's not like that I swear. I just wanted to help you, for you!"
"Oh screw your help! And screw you!" She gulped and let out a faltering breath, "I may have a victim's mentality and I know the amount of pity everyone is entitled to was not given to me but I never wanted it like this! I just wanted my right." She cried, "But I desire no sympathy from people who do it just to feel good about themselves. I havent gotten that low," she sniffled, "Not yet. And I dont want help from egoistically altruistic BASTARDS like you!"
Haemin's heart pained, "No, Luna, It's not like that, not anymore. I swear."
"I spent all this time," She hiccuped, "Trying so hard to have you see me more than a friend but," Another warm tear slipped down her cheek, " You dont even consider me a human."
"Things have changed, my thoughts have changed, those entries are no longer what they were intended for." He tried but she was no longer listening.
Her breathing was shallow yet no breath satisfied her lungs. She placed a trembling hand on the door to steady herself and a voice spoke in her head, it sounded so real she almost looked up to find Molly there, telling her to calm down.
"You have to stop doing this, it's bad for your health."
Luna closed her eyes in guilt. She was never good to Molly even though she was nothing but nice to Luna. With a thud she fell on the ground and clenched her jaw.
"Destroying everything around you and hurting yourself will not bring Jade back."
She began to cry again.
"Luna, please let me in. I cant help you from out here." This time it was Haemin, and his voice held every bit of pain.
She looked around weakly to distract herself and saw Leo's toys.
Leo..
"Leo." Luna uttered with widened eyes. She just remembered that when she had stormed out with Jihoon's car keys she had left the the door opened and he was right behind her.
She got up and opened the door, "Where's Leo?" She pushed past him and started to look for him inside the mansion.
"What?" He asked confusedly.
"Leo.. Leo!" She called out. She called for the house staff and asked them and after five minutes of everyone searching around she had realized that he really had run away.
Without an umbrella she ran out into the icy cold rain, almost slipping on the pavement.
"Luna! What are you doing?!" Haemin grabbed her and slightly shook her to make her come to her senses.
Her lower lip quivered as she stared at him through welled up eyes, "Leo may have run away for good, and his claws are cut, he cant even defend himself."
"Ill find him, you go inside." The house staff brought both of them umbrellas.
She clenched her jaw and shrugged off his hand on her shoulder, "No, I dont need your help I can find him myself."
"We can talk about that later, right now you know you cant stop me from helping." He challenged her.
"Whatever." She walked out of the gate.
