At lunch time, Luna got something from the store nearby and went to the greenhouse to eat.
She planned on not meeting with Haemin until she had things figured out, though she couldn't resist continuing their word game. The story had quite quickly slipped out of both their hands and now sheltered the genres, romance, modern fantasy AND action.
Magically, whatever word either contributed to the story, both agreed on. As if their thinking - minds were wands made from the same feather.
But she still refrained from going to him in between classes and also in any case he was already pre occupied with explaining to Yohan and his friends how THE Ella was pictured with him.
To which he gladly fessed that she was his girlfriend, he looked as if a burden was lifted from his shoulders as he said this.
Luna shook her head slowly in disappointment, of all the people in the world, he had to date Ella.
She sat down near the pond and unwrapped her sandwich.
After giving it a non rushed and accepting thought, she had quite fortunately, figured Haemin out.
It's like when you bake a cake, you make it for yourself to eat, yet you make it pretty for others to see. You'll compromise if it doesn't taste good because you're the maker. But you're heart will be caught in your throat as you await the other eater's response. If they'll praise it or spit it out.
No matter the intentions, you still want your hard work to be commended, may it be by asking for another slice, or simply a satisfied grin in return.
When Haemin Lee helped Ella, he expected a loving girlfriend or atleast a thankful indivisual, yet got neither.
"I'd gladly be both for him." Luna wondered outloud.
"That's a peculiar thing to say."
Luna turned around in surprise to see who it was,
"Hyun!" She exclaimed and jumped on him, wrapping her arms around him.
Though it hadnt been long since she had last seen him, she missed his carefree energy.
Hyun stumbled back a little and tamed his excitement by reminding himself that she was an open minded foreigner.
"Everything okay?"
She pulled back with a slight pout, "Yeah, I guess its okay, as long as I decide I want it to be, its solely up to me." She rambled.
Hyun opened his pack of crisps, "Is 'it' anything I can help with?"
She smiled at him earnestly, "Im so glad to have you as a friend." May it be the lack of sleep or the stressful past couple of days, she desired some warmth.
Hyun checked Luna's forehead seriously, "Are you feeling a little feverish or something?"
Luna giggled, "Maybe I am."
They began to eat and Luna casually glanced at his hair. His black roots were getting more and more prominent and still he hadn't dyed them.
"You wanted to be a pop idol, didnt you?" She commented straightly while looking at him.
He reacted animatedly, "Who told you?!"
"I figured it out." She replied smugly.
"Pfft, yeah right. Someone must've told you. Im quite popular around here."
She scoffed, "Want me to prove it?"
He gave a dimmed smile which Luna didnt notice, "Not really, but go ahead. Maybe it'll make it easier for me."
Taking a sip of her strawberry milk, she started, "Well, the first pointer is sort of a placebo but it fits. It is, your good looks and dyed hair. You absolutely must've been scouted numerous times by entertainment agencies."
Hyun was about to protest but she held her hand up, halting him,
"The second one is you going to an arts school, but thats a trend and you could've changed your mind later. Third is the fact that you told me about you staying out of your home very often, which points towards you having a not so good family relationship and which could be why you couldn't achieve your dream of becoming an idol which is understandable as your father is a congressman. Also, your brother Hyuck's success must be used against you too."
Luna looked at him to see him respond and instantly regretted saying anything at all,
He seemed uncomfortable beyond imagine, as if he'd rather be anywhere but with her.
"Hyun, Im so-"
"Is it really understandable?" His tone was rigid, "Can a congressman's son not be a singer? I didnt know being an artist was such a disgrace."
"I didnt mean it like that.."
He shook his head, "I dont wanna talk about it."
"So, I was right." She cringed and stared at her sandwich, which no longer had an appetite for.
"I cant believe the first time you talked so much was about this." He laughed gravely, she stared at the ground, ashamed,
"How's Sajinsul's photobook going?" Light and mischief had exited his eyes and he really looked as if he'd leave any second.
"Uhh according to Joy, slower than usual. And she also openly told everyone that because of her recent breakup she isnt in the right head space to direct photoshoots currently."
He gaped, "She got dumped?!"
"Yeah.."

At Coffee Myungga, Luna danced to the song in her earbuds and stretched dough on her counter.
Though she sent in her replacement most of the time in the past week, Jinwoo was kind enough to not fire her.
Mainly because her desserts were most sought after.
Yubi tapped her shoulder and she took out her earphones, "Hey."
"Hey, did you meet with your cousin on the way in?"
Luna tilted her head, "My cousin?"
"The tall, fair and handsome one with the light brown eyes."
Luna chuckled, "Yeah, only got one cousin here. He's here at the cafè?"
"Yepp, with a really pretty girl." Yubi pouted in disappointment.
Her eyes widened, "What?! Really?!" She excitedly went out with Yubi and peeked into the cafè from the door.
The girl had her back to them but Luna still recognized her instantly.
The girl got up, bid Jihoon goodbye and then she turned, giving Yubi and Luna a full view of her.
Joy.
"I must say, they make a good couple."
Luna grinned, "They do don't they."
She completed her tasks in the kitchen, and brushing off the flour from her apron, she went out to meet Jihoon who had called her out for a cup of coffee.
"Does my busy cousin finally have time for me? Lucky me!" Luna commented sarcastically.
"Gosh, I cant even begin to explain how sorry I am. Things at work weren't exactly hectic but I needed to do extra."
"Is Hyuck Kim, still a threat?" Because of the tiredness written on his face she didnt get a chance to ask about his rendezvous with Joy.
"Now more than ever. His fiancée is the Cheif Executive of a children's clothes company and she has signed with our company for the cloth exports because of Hyuck."
"Eesh he is not going slow."
"Mhm. Thank goodness Mr. Lee referred me to many foreign companies and if those pull through, my contribution will crush Hyuck's"
Luna wondered if Hyun was close enough with his brother to know his connection with her cousin.
"Do you and uncle know Mr.Lee from 'Le Caprice'?"
He shook his head, taking a long sip from his beverage, "Him and dad graduated from the same bussiness school, and are really close. Thats why we were less worried when you ran off with his son from Hyuck's engagement party. Also, did you know that he owns the university you go to? He helped with your admission."
"Well damn, I thought it was because of my non-criminal record."
Jihoon laughed and looked down, preparing to say something,
"Francis also helped me with the contracts."
Luna's blood ran cold, "He's here?"
Jihoon stared at her with widened eyes, "He left this morning.. he didnt come to meet you? I told him where he could find you."
A strong wave of weakness washed over her and her throat ached with a strong urge to cry.
He left without seeing me?
"Luna.." he got up to come over and hug her but his phone started ringing and he stopped to attend it, "Hey.. what?!" He gasped into the receiver and Luna stilled, "Yeah, shes with me.. we're coming. Bye."
"What, what is it?" She asked with worry.
"Grandma Brienne had a severe heart attack and her condition isnt very good. She has asked to see you. We have to go to Australia."
