I Finnish my dinner before walking to the library, I need to know what I'm dealing with before I start practicing magic
the library doesn't take me long to find, unlike most libraries that have that old paper smell, this one smells like the forest, the woodsy sent just seems to wrap itself around me calming me
I think I just fell in love with this library
'okay, so we need to start with some sort of beginners guide to Elvin magic or something'
just as the thought formulates in my head, a few books float from different shelves settling themselves neatly on a desk
okay, freaky
now I'm starting to feel a little unsettled

Elvin magic according to the books I read is the essence of nature, elves are a type of species that are allowed to wield nature by nature itself, nature submits and willingly allows itself to be controlled by elves, the more an elf understands nature the more of nature one is allowed to control, in short its described by one word
RESONANCE
its like in a relationship, they don't work if there's no trust, understanding and love all of these should be there for the people in a relationship to be happy
when you trust nature, nature trusts you back, you understand it and will also understand your intentions, you love nature and it will love you back, and the more nature loves you the more powerful an elf is
so, in short, Elvin magic is just the relationship between an elf and nature

nature is stubborn and selective, its like a child that has a very IQ but equally very low EQ and thus you have to teach it what emotions are, but when nature loves you, it'll never turn its back on you and that is why pure elves are powerful and polluted elves are very weak except dark elves, those are another species altogether
polluted elves, these are invaded with humanity's negative emotions greed, lust, pride, are examples
emerald was what you would deem a polluted elf, I mean the girl stayed and believed she was human for the better part of 16 years of her life
anyway, that aside
let's start with 'cleansing the heart' according to one of the books I read about basic Elvin magic, to have a strong foundation, an elf's heart has to be clean, the process is easy really, all you have to do is accept nature, and the magic in nature will do the rest
the library is a good place to do this, it holds more magic than any safe place I'm allowed to enter anyway
sitting cross legged on a good rock, my back leaning against a tree at the center of the library, I close my eyes and empty my mind of all thought entering into a trance unknowingly

As she walked away, Kim didn't notice how her heart that was filled with sorrow because of what happened to her in her last life was cleared away, she didn't notice how she let out a pure aura, like a newly born child and neither did she notice how every time she passed by a plant the stems seemed to be vying for her attention
