Their car passed through the gates and a garden and reached the mansion entrance. Jon has a separate house to himself and it is a town away from his parents house.He alone stays in this mansion and he has a security to guard his house in his absence.
Once the car stopped near the door Jon opened the door without waiting for his security or driver as he don't follow customs in this, he went towards his wife side to open it.
Erica couldn't help but accept his gentleman approach and said "thank you". Jon on hearing this tried to respond something but on feeling other persons around him accepted her politeness with a nod.
Since it is the first entry into their home as a couple Jon raised his hand towards Erica so that they can enter their home together.
Seeing his raised hand Erica stunned for a second before raising it to place it above his.Jon released the breath he holded in.
Together they took a first step for a beautiful but unexpected chapter in life.
Their home is simple,quite and peaceful. Erica felt the peaceful vibes to be refreshing and her eyes are wandering from one side to the other. While she is busy scrutinising the house Jon is looking at her to have her attention.
Busy in her search she forgot the person she is holding her hands. Unable to have her attention he voiced," Hey!".
By the sudden voice she just tensed a little and met his attention seeking eyes, she can't help but feel embarrassed as she examined the house infront of the owner. He said "If your observation is over we can explore our home together."
She nodded in response amd felt nice hearing 'our home' from her husband.
"First before we go further let me introduce myself I am Jon Arthur,I am running a company you might have heard of, Arthur groups. I am 27 this year. About my family I will introduce you later. About my character and behaviour you can find yourself as you have a full lifetime with me." With this Jon winked at her.
Erica could only shake her head for his wink.
"Now about you wife."
"I am Erica Mark, I am 25 this year currently I am idle , my family I will introduce in you way while we meet and.... that's it."
"That's it how about you calling me.."
" what??" Erica frowns 'did I miss something'.
" my nickname?"
" We are strangers right!"
Jon scratches his head "I guess you are too forgetful my wife we are officially married husband and wife ".
"yeah! right.... hubby"saying it she glanced at him like is it okay.
"Satisfied.." he said happily.
They both smiled at each others response satisfactorily.
"oh! right you are from Arthur groups the one which is currently a hot topic due to their continuous success but I have never seen you anywhere nor your family except for the company name".
"Yes our family leads Arthur groups we never show ourselves to media as it would affect our privacy we would only deal with bussiness matters and about the different bussiness I would take you to see for yourselves, as now we are Arthur groups"
She is really surprised about him including her in everything he is and the treatment like a better half.
"Okay but after visiting our parents" pointing both of them.
"fine" he is pleased with her accepting his parents as hers.
"So can we move on" Jon reminded her and raised his hands for her to hold.
This time she accepted his hand without second thought .
The move on also meant to move on from their bitter experience to welcome a blissful life.
"okay then let me start from the kitchen.."
After visiting all the places they finally reached their bedroom which is a master bedroom on first floor.While inviting her in he sensed the nervousness in her so he squeezed her hand in assurance,with that she nodded at him and made herself calm.
As he lead her in, the landline rang suddenly which is placed in the hall so he went to the hall towards the phone leading Erica with their holded hands.
"Hello.." before he finished his mom interrupted him.
"Are you both at home?"
"yes mom ,we are." he replied eyeing his wife.
"How is my daughter-in-law? Is she fine? Have you conversed with her?Is she tense? Have you both had lunch? Did she call her home?...."she ranted a series of questions which woke Jon to find that Erica didn't call home and they didn't had lunch.
"Mom..mom...mom.. relax let me answer you before you stuff more questions okay.."
"Fine now answer me how is my daughter-in-law?"
"Mom my wife is fine, she is tense and nervous but not that bad and we had a small talk about our self-intro and we forgot our lunch and she is yet to call her home.."before he completed he was interuptted by his mom.
"What! still didn't called her home. Okay I will hang up now so ask her to call her home immediately okay and no dilly-dallying. Then return my call again.."
Before he could repsond the caller has hung up,he can only hold the receiver to his forehead and shake his head.
Seeing Jon behaving like that Erica questioned "what's wrong?".
"My mother reminded me that you have to call you home and inform about you and with that she hung up so after you return you call Imust call her."
"That's it.What's weird in that.."
"My mom .." he blinked "sorry our mom she is so carefree she talks quiet smooth and slow she won't even rant us son which we wished for but now just after your arrival she ranted for a minute and even hung up befor i responded, So i am just sensing a threat .."
"!!!" she couldn't understand why he is behaving like this.
Seeing her not understanding, he openly admitted "I am jealous of you, wife".
"Childish" she snorted and laughed at the reaction of his face so cute.
Jon was able to notice a weird feeling like she said within him which is newly sprouting and he laughed it away.
"Okay now call your home."
"mmm" she nodded and looked for her phone,then she remembered that at wedding she handed her phone to her mom and didn't got it back.
"That..um" she glanced at him like can ask or not she cannot pester the man on her first day of her wedding itself right.
Seeing her glance and not finding a phone at her he understood what she wanted to ask so he offered himself voluntarily not him but his phone.
"Here you go."he handed his phone to her.
She looked at him once again and went to use his phone in front of him, but she came across a password, before she could ask a finger already entered the password.
She gave him an examining glance "Don't you think i would remember your password again, what if it affected your privacy?"
He really got speechless, he knowingly gave the password to her as she is his wife and she has all rights to know about him but she..
So he lightly knocked her forehead and explained "Wife we are married and i wish my wife has all rights to know about him in everyway and everything, if you forget you are my wife again then i have to do a intimate hug or kiss to remind you. So you can try it yourself and i am very glad to give you a nice kiss" with that he traced his lips.
"No.. no..no my memory is strong okay" she forced herself to not face him.
She input her mom's number and waited for her mom to pick it up.
As soon as the call connected she tightened the grip on her phone with eyes wide.
