It is rarely someone talk to us in this THC head office. One of the reasons we are known scum, another reason is that we three are higher class public they are afraid to talk with us.
Though old men or women did talk to us before, for a lady whose age is the same as us in Gungnir timeline talk to us the first time.
"How can I help you?"
I asked her in a business manner. She felt surprised but hide this expression hurriedly.
"You see we need a 10th level Semi-Professional with us to take part in the Her Highness Crown Princess recruitment test... currently you are the only one who is not participating in the recruitment test."
She told me.
"You mean we will work as a team... why is that?"
I asked that.
"It is not said that they will recruit only one member. They said they will recruit whoever fits for the roles, numbers are irrelevant... if thousands are fit for the role they will recruit thousands, if no one fits for the role, they won't recruit single person."
She said.
"I see, so you want to make a team play to get passed in the recruitment test."
I asked her, she nodded.
"But I do not want to join the princess team."
I told her.
"Wha-why?"
She was surprised.
"I am just interested in completing the C rank mission. I can join any time in the Knight Order, after all, I am from the Great Western direct line."
I told her.
"Is that so...? Then what if I make a C rank mission for you to make you join with us."
She proposed that to me. Looks like there is another reason that she wants me to join her team.
I looked at the other two. Well, there is no need to doubt that they could finish a C rank by themselves, even a single one of them can complete Trancedental Class mission which is the highest-ranked mission in the world. The reason I looked at them because I want to convey that they should finish the mission on their own. They have nodded.
"Okay, I am joining your team. However, don't expect me to do something exceptional performance for you."
I make that point clear. I do not know why she is doing that, but a brat like her cannot cause that much problem for me. One of the reasons I want to join her team because I want to advertise myself to Elachy Asgard. She will be representing me as a new leaf in near future.
"Thank you. Welcome to my team. Let me make a mission for you."
Saying that she went in front of the reception who took new missions. Looks like she is not a mere citizen or member of the THC. And she is a veteran ranked expert.
She pointed at me. The reception nodded and give her a paper. Apparently, this was a mission paper. She gave that to me and said,
"Please, meet me 30 minutes later in front of the city plaza."
Saying that she left the THC.
"So, should we go to the mission?"
Edward asked me. I nodded at him.
"Yes, as long as we complete C rank mission it will count in the record book, no matter it is in team or solo. So, go on."
Both of them exited from there. I looked at the other people who are busy recruiting members, they are applying the team-making strategy like the girl. Come to think she never told her name though I know her by looking at her profile. Her name is Lisa Ackland. The daughter of Viscount Ackland as well as the mayor of this city.
