Then again, it seems like conversations between the two of them end up like this all the time. Jumping from random topics, and yet it feels like every conversation they have is meaningful.
"So, I've meant to ask you for a while now. Where did that knife come from?"
"What's wrong with me having a short blade?"
"A blade isn't something I expect you to have," Akito trailed off. "Then again, you did bring a bunch of strange things with you when you first came here."
Those strange things Akito is talking about are the things in her bag.
Her mouth twitched. Why does he sound sarcastic about it? Is it that unusual for her to have a knife? "Oslo gave them to me. He said that it would be better with me than with him or something."
"Well. That doesn't surprise me," Akito snorted before he murmured, "So you know him.."
