Sabrina Dubois' POV
I don't know what happened after I blacked out. I knew that something has happened to me when I can sense that I have been carried to someplace that I don't know. I hope that Nathan will find me sooner.
"Wake up sleepy head!" A shout came through my eardrum when I was drenched with cold water.
"urgh," I shouted as I was shocked to see that Sophia was in front of me alone. I don't see Charles anywhere as I looked around my surroundings. I knew that I was at their lair. I just hope that my signal goes through their facilities as I looked at Sophia.
"if you were wondering at Charles or where you are or did anyone will find this place, keep dreaming. I have put your phone away and Charles was developing some truth serum.
"oh don't be so sad. I'm sure he will be back and you will spill everything that you know about that biowarfare of the bacteria. I need that information," she said as she looked at me. I was looking at her hard to counterattack her stare.
"over my dead body," I said as I was trying to buy some time for them to find my location.
"gladly," Sophia said as she was pointing the gun at me before Charles came to save me from her disastrous mistake.
"Hey, hey, hey. What's going on, Sophia?" He asked her as he went to stand in front of the gun, blocking my view at them. They were whispering about something before Sophia gave up the gun and Charles went to work on the truth serum.
"now, we shall see if you are speaking the truth," he said as he put the needle inside my body and I can see the fluid flows inside it.
"You traitor!" I said as I looked at Charles as he was smiling at me.
"hush, Sabby, you don't know about me and I sure as well that we're not a friend anymore," he said after he finished with me. I can sense that the serum was working it's magic when I tried to make sure that I don't spill my secret to them.
"now, tell me those procedures to make the perfect bioweapon," Sophia said as she was looking at me as she put her hand on my chair. I cannot focus my vision as it was taking so much of my simplicity as I knew that I can never tell me being an agent.
"the procedure in your lab is lacking an element that can only be found in the Biotech Inc. company. It was the agent that put inside the petri dish when I was making it and the terrorist that attacked me to get it," I said as I was trying to resist it.
"don't waste your time try to resist the serum," Sophia said as she went to Charles' side. She caressed his cheeks.
"He made the perfect truth serum so that no one can hide anything and I mean, anything, from us," Sophia said as she went to stand in front of me.
"do you still have feelings for him, my fiancé?" She asked me as I was trying to overcome the effect of the serum right now.
"why, do you feel insecure if I did and how do you make sure that he did not fall for me again?" I asked as I was trying to avoid the honest answer.
"You bitch," she said before slapped me. I laughed as I was trying to overcome the pain of her slap.
"Sophia," Charles warned her before she held her hand up at him.
"do not interfere while I was interrogating the poor sod," she said as she looked at me like I was one of her prey.
"now, tell me more about your feelings to Charles," she said as she was leveling her eye level with me.
"fuck you!" I hissed before she smiled and slapped me again. I can feel there was blood pooling in my nose and mouth right now. I scoffed at her as she was pulling my hair and looked at me again in my eyes deeply.
"I'm not going to repeat. Tell me about your feelings on Charles," Sophia said as I was trying to breathe with her holding my hair like it will fall off from the scalp.
"don't say that I don't warn you," I said as she arched her eyebrow at me.
"try me," she replied.
"I think he was better off with me when I first saw you at the party. I know that Charles deserves someone better but I don't think it will be you, happy?" I said before she went on to slap me. I was anticipating them coming but I don't feel anything. I closed my eyes as I was embracing the impact but nothing happened.
"enough," Charles said as he was holding her hand. I was shocked to see that Charles was doing something.
"what are you doing?" Sophia said as she looked horrified.
"You can just be asked, don't act," he said as he was caressing her.
"No, you can't tell me what to do," she said as she was holding up her hands.
"try me," he said as he looked at her. I thought Charles was a pushover but I guess involved in this kind of crowd, he would have to step up his game.
"Okay, fine. You get the information then," she said as she stepped aside. Charles just sighed before he put a chair in front of me and sat on it.
"So, tell me in detail about the process," he said as he looked at me before I gulped. I hope Nathan was here soon.
Nathan White's POV
"I'm here, I'm at the location that you gave me, Val, but I don't see anything. I don't see anyone at all. It is a lovely home but it felt abandoned," I said as I was looking around the mansion that was supposed to have Sabrina's phone but then I went to the backyard and saw her phone, along with the tire scratches.
"Val, I need to call you back, I think they have move Sabrina elsewhere," I said.
"it's okay, I can trace her chip," Val said as he was typing something inside his computer.
"wait, you have chipped in her?" I asked as I was about to curse at Alfred.
"well, it is worth in the situation like now, right? Just get over it, Nathan. It was my idea," Val said as he was typing away before a message came into my phone.
"that was the new location for Sabrina. Be careful, Nathan," Val said as I went back to the car.
"don't I ever?" I said before I hang up and drove off from the private property that I have trespassed.
I have arrived at the location that Valentino gave me. I looked around but there was nothing. It was just trees and ground. unless they were located underground.
"there must be a door somewhere," I said as I went to look for it. I thought it might be on the ground but it might be somewhere that was secluded from the view. I went inside the vines that were covering a cave and as I opened it, there was a tunnel that might lead to their lair.
"Ah hah!" I said as it echoed and I knew I was on the right track.
"now, to find that secret door," I said as I looked around for the ventilation door. I found it was located to my right before I took it out and I went inside them before putting the hood again to cover my track. I knew some guards were coming to guard it because of my echo.
"I thought I hear something," one of the guards said as I looked at their feet before I went inside the vent, further and further to get Sabrina out of this fucking place.
I went in and out of the place to see where was Sabrina located. I cannot find her yet because my phone stopped as there was no signal for me to track her. I went to look for her old schooled as I knew that it would not be any different like I have her chip signal.
"now, let see if she was in here," I went right as I looked through the vent when I saw Sophia and Charles were interrogating Sabrina. She was in no condition to fight as she was dosed with a lot of truth serum and she was telling her about the bacteria biowarfare that could cause the epidemic to the whole world. I got to stop them before they found out that she was undercover to tell them those fucking lies and all her other secrets that no one knows.
"well, that was very helpful, Sabrina. I see to it that you will get home safely after this," Charles said before Sophia took out a gun and was ready to shoot her.
"No!" I shouted while I jumped on Sophia and Charles was a shock to see me before I punched him in the face. He stumbled to the ground before I went to Sabrina's side.
"Nate? Is that you or am I dreaming?" Sabrina said weakly as she was in no condition to think or act normally.
"it's okay, Sabrina. I'm here and we will get out here, alive," I said as I picked her up and went out of the room before the guards came in.
