Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Hail the Queen

Three weeks came and went after our trip back from the library. We were in the great hall. There were many people there making noise and celebrating our safe return home. It was as if we had come back from battle and survived. Even though that was not the case everyone treated it as if it was because they love me as their ruler. They knew that I was good for the kingdom and I would bring nothing but good times to them and the land. Peter yelled loudly so everyone that was in the great hall could hear. "Everyone please quiet down!" Then after a few minutes everyone stopped talking and gave their attention to Peter. "To everyone here! A very special day is upon us. Not just for our kingdom and its people but for our princes. In two months, our princess Sayaka will become a very special type of person. She will become queen!" Everyone in the great hall cheered loudly. "This coronation will be the first one we've seen in our lifetime." He continued. "Saya will be the first queen we have had since her Mother before her. We were lucky to have her Mother and Father as king and queen and we are just as lucky to have her to have her as our queen now. We are getting ready. So, must all of you!" He paused and looked around the room then continued, "Do I make myself clear to everyone?!" Everyone then yelled, "Yes sir, Peter sir!!" Then everyone started to get everything ready right away. I looked around the room and looked at one of the maids across the room heading up the stairs and yelled, "You their maid! On the stairs!" Then she stopped but didn't turn around. "I want you and the rest of the chamber maids to make and send the invitations! I will have a list made up and brought to you to where I want them sent! I want you to make the invitations in the great hall! Do you understand?!" "Yes, my lord!" She responded with her back still turned to me. Little did I know that it was James in the maid's outfit? He was still trying to figure out how to surprise me. I walked up to Peter and called Donovan over and said in a low voice, "I don't want anyone to know where we were. I only want us to know. Do you both understand?" "Yes, Sayaka." Replied Peter. "Yes, your majesty." Replied Donovan. I was so nervous being back and having to start getting ready for a coronation I didn't really want anyone to know that Donovan is my grandfather. At least not yet. The ride back was long, and I needed to relax a bit. I also needed to stretch out my wings. I went outside and flew up in the sky. I was a bit slow and it took a while for me to speed up since my wings felt a bit sore. I was having so much fun flying. So many things were on my mind that I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I was moving so fast and flying so randomly around that I didn't realize how close to the ground I was and then suddenly I crashed into Peter. We flew fast and flew threw a few mounds of hay before we landed in one that stopped us. When we realized that we stopped we started to brush off all the hay that was on us. "Are you okay Saya?" Peter asked. "Yeah I'm fine." I replied as I was getting some hay out of my mouth. "Are you?" I asked him. "My back hurts a little but I'm fine." He replied. "Oh, I'm really sorry about that Peter. I didn't mean to. I wasn't paying attention." I said. "It's okay." He replied. I smiled and I started to laugh as I was still there lying on top of him. Then Peter said, "Well, we should really stop meeting like this, now shouldn't we?" Then we both laughed. We tried to get out, but it was a bit hard with all the hay everywhere. We just kept struggling to get up that I accidently slipped, and we ended up kissing on accident. I lifted myself up and said, "Sorry. I didn't mean to do that. They hay is slippery." "It's okay. I don't mind at all. That time it didn't hurt." He replied. I smiled and laughed a bit. "Oh okay. That's good. Well I mean that it didn't hurt." I said. He smiled at me and said, "Yeah." He looked at my red eyes. I looked at his hazel eyes. He grabbed my waist pushed me towards his groin. His little soldier was at salute. I looked down a bit for a quick second and looked back at his eyes. I ripped off his shirt widely touching all his muscles on his abdomen. He turned me over on the soft hay and then continued to look at me. Before he could do anything everyone that saw us crash headed towards us. They saw Peter and me lying in the hay. One of the servants came up and asked, "Your majesty, are you, all right?" I looked up and just nodded. I looked back at Peter. He smiled at me; he got up, bowed and left. I was a bit confused. No one questioned his shirt being torn because they assumed that it got like that from the crash. The servants helped me up and I went back into the castle. The coronation was just two days away. I was in the castle library. I was reading my family's history book. At least one of the ones left here at the castle that I knew about. As I was reading it, I started to get angry. I didn't like the fact that I was lied to about my family history my whole life. If my parents were alive then this wouldn't have happened. It was all King James' fault. I stood up and slammed the book closed and slid it to the left of me across the table onto the floor. I put my hands on my face and took a few breaths then sat back down. At that moment Donovan came into the library and saw what happened. He walked up and stood behind me. He put his hand on my shoulder. I took my hands off my face and looked behind me. "Sayaka. My darling. Why you angry?" He said. "I told you Donovan. You call me your highness." I replied. I got up and sat next to the fireplace. "Why did you write yourself as a villain? What was it that you were trying to save us from? I still don't understand." He took the book and put it back on the table. He walked over to where I was sitting. He faced me and smiled and said, "When you're Queen, you'll understand." "I'm already queen." I replied. "You know what I mean." He said. When he said that he seemed scared for some reason. There was another chair a few feet in front of me. I looked at it and pointed at it and said, "Sit." He sat down. "Donovan? I would like it if you be next to me on my coronation? It would only make sense for you to be there." "But of course. But what about my identity? Didn't you want me to tell everyone that I was someone different?" He replied. "Yes. Did you come up with a story?" I asked. "Yes but no one has asked me who I was, and I haven't told anyone." He said in response. "When did you come up with a story?" I asked him. "A few days ago." He said. "Why didn't you come and tell me like I told you to?" I asked him. "I'm sorry. I didn't think it was that important since no one was asking. I figured that I didn't have to say anything to anyone since no one was asking and all around us was just servants." He said. "Well it is important. You defied my orders. You are lucky that the coronation is only two days away. Don't defy me again. Do you understand?" I said. "Yes, your highness. I understand." "Good." I said back to him.
