Waking up I found myself in bed. Flowers arranged around the room, all different coloured roses. By the looks of it, they had been there for a while. Checking the digital clock on the wall, the date had changed from the day of my accident. Two months had passed since my suicide act, the weather turned from cold to a warm springs day. My head ached with pain, and iv connected to my arm, half empty. In the corner, I found a man asleep but I couldn't recognise him.
Did I know him?
I picked up my extra blanket and tucked him into the chair, luckily it was a lightweight blanket causing no trouble for me. I sat there on my bed watching this guy sleep. Moments later his eyes flicked open, those dark blue eyes fearlessly staring directly at me.
"You! You're awake, you scared me to death" he sprung from his chair to embrace me.
"Hold tight, I'll call the home doctor to check up in you" he ran out.
Dazed I stared at the door trying to process everything that just happened. Within minutes the door opened revealing a young man in a white coat with that "guy". Walking towards me I started to sweat.
...Are these guys bad?
Will they harm me?
Millions of thoughts popped up in my head, making me nervous.
"Oh no, it seems Miss has a fever" the man in the white coat apprised.
"You overdid it again Didn't you? You just woke up from your coma and already causing me troubles! Geez what a troublesome girl, you know you have a weak body yet you do these things" the guy I awoke to remonstrated.
"Excuse me? I don't even know you yet you scold me harshly" I snuffled in distress. Tears gradually flowing down, making my innocent nature purer.
"I'm sorry sir, I'm afraid I don't know you," I said apologetically.
"You must have me confused with someone else"
"Doctor, what's wrong with my cousin?!" the guy argued, getting worked up.
"Fix her god damn it!" the man snapped.
"Sir, please calm down. Miss Ye is suffering from amnesia" The doctor informed.
"What! Is she stuck like this forever? Is it curable? " the "man," asked.
"Her accident was crucial, but at this time we can only wait for her to recover her memories. Time will tell." the doctor picked up his coat and walked out the door.
