Snow didn't know why, but she could still see that face. She didn't know who it was, but she had this feeling that she will meet him soon. She stayed at an inn, disguised as a traveler and when she payed with money she stole beforehand, she set out to get away from the Capital as far as possible.
As she was leaving she suddenly heard a voice. "Are you scared?" said the voice. She looked behind herself, however there was nobody there. The voice was a familiar one, yet she could not say who it was. This feeling of utter lonelyness ate her from the inside. She did not know anything.
"Are you afraid, Snow?" there it is again. That voice. Closer, and yet, Snow could feel no presence what so ever.
"Who are you?!" cried Snow out loud. She was scared, but she tried to hide it.
"Who am I? That's not important, my dear." the voice said. "You can call me Supesu. If that will relieve you of your fear."
"I am not afraid!" said Snow.
"Please, do you realy want me to believe that? You were alone all this time, you might think you are something special, but you are nothing but a scared little child."
"Shut up!" she said and covered her ears. "I won't listen to you."
"Covering your ears? Seriously, I though you were mature." said the voice. It sounded a bit dissapointed.
Snow could feel something standing behind her. She looked, but there was no one there. Again. No matter how she turned, there was someone behind here.
Snow started to freak out. "Get away from me! Leave me be!" she cried out loud. But then...
"Shhhhh. Calm down, my dear." said a figure before her. Snow looked up with tears in her eyes. The figure was pitch black, with bright red eyes and claw-like hands.
"Wh-who are you? Why do you follow me?" asked Snow with half-broken voice.
"I am you Snow. I was always there. You may have forgotten about me, but I was always behind you."
"You...what are you?"
"What am I? That's a good question." said the figure as it knelt before her. Like an older sister would.
"I am your power, or rather, your side of mind that has it. Everytime you use your powers, it's actualy me. I can protect you, I was forced away from you."
"Huh?" Snow look confused. The figure had no mouth, only those red eyes. But she seemed...angry.
"They tore us apart Snow. They used you, and when they realised you were too powerful to be controled, they tried to kill you. That man may have pushed me away, but he could never separate us." and the figure hugged her. "I will always protect you Snow. Just let me be with you."
Snow didn't know what to do. She looked at her hands. "If I embrace my power, will they not hurt me?" asked Snow. She sounded so naive, so scared.
The figure then look her in the eyes. "Together, nothing will stop us." and she raised her hand.
Snow then looked at her own palm. They will not hurt her. She is done running away. No one will hurt her ever again. And with that in her mind, she raised her palm and touched Supesu's palm.
Light. Bright red light. That's all she could see at that moment. When she opened her eyes, the figure was gone. She looked at her hands and smiled. This feeling, this power, she is free.
Snow looked up and stood up. She started to laugh. It was no ordinary laugh. It was a laugh of someone who waited for so many years to be back.
"Now, I am complete." she said. It was a different voice. Different person. As she gazed into the horizon, she saw a figure. It was dressed in grey rags and had a sword in hand. Katana to be precise.
"So, you have finaly come. Took you long enough." said Snow with arrogant tone of voice.
"...give her back." said the person quietly.
"Back? Give who back? This is who I am Vlad." said Snow with confidence as she brushed her hair. This feeling of power, she never felt so alive.
"You are the embodiment of all that is wrong in this world." said Vlad as he unsheated his sword.
"ME?! I am evil? No! It was I who suffered for years. They hunted me, shunned me, they even tried to kill me. And you? You just erased me from her memory. You thought that was going to save her?! Too bad, it didn't. You threw away your humanity for nothing Vlad." said Snow as she angrily lashed againts Vlad. "I will show you, what it means to suffer."
Vlad just dodged but he looked sad. He loved Snow more than anything. But this was no longer her. Supesu may be her part, but she is malevolent, evil and cruel. Snow herself is kind, gentle and cheerful. She was the light of his life. When he was ordered to kill her, he rather erased Supesu from her memory, leaving her powerless, but to do that he had to sacrifice something. Something of equal value. He became a vampire, an undead to finish the ritual.
"I am sorry." he said as the ground below them lit up. It created a dome of magic and Snow could feel chains wrap around her wrists. "I am so sorry I couldn't save you then. Please, let me take you to the Realm of No one. There you will be safe. Please Snow." he begged his love. It was a voice of a broken man.
Snow looked at him. She paused for a moment. "Hehe. You truly are an idiot." she said with a smile on her lips. She looked him in the eye. "Take me. Take me away, I don't want to be here anymo-"
She could not finish that sentence. Something broke the barier down. A figure stood behind Snow and before she could say anything, she fell to the ground. It was a quick blunt strike to the back of her skull. Not strong enought to kill, but strong enough to make her fall unconscious.
"You saved me a lot of trouble creating this dome, y'know?" said Victor amusingly.
Vlad seemed angry, but he still didn't utter a word. "Who are you?"
"Oh, sorry for intrution. I just came here to pick her up." He said with a smile. He shrugged and closed his eyes. In that moment, Vlad charged at him with his sword, aiming for his heart. There wasn't even a second between his movement. Victor parried it perfectly with his rapier. Vlad instinctively jumped away and readied his stance. Victor on the other hand greeted his opponent with a traditional swordsman greeting, by aiming the tip of his rapier at his foe and then pulling it before his face.
"Who are you?" asked Vlad angrily.
"My name is Victor Velaestraz." he said and readied his stance. "And I came here, to clean her name."
"Clean her name?" Vlad seemed confused. "How would you do that?"
"The queens know she is innocent, however there must be someone to punish for her crimes. Since you are also guilty, if you willingly take the blame, she will be spared."
"And I am supposed to believe such lies? Don't make me laugh. You are nothing more than a fool who thinks he can beat me."
"Perhaps I am a fool." shrugged Victor. This time it was him attacking. It was fast. Too fast infact. Vlad was barely able to delfect and dodge Victor's two-way slash. 'This guy's a realy bad news.' thought Vlad to himself as Victor looked at him through his almost closed eyes. It was a face of someone, who was confident of their skill. Vlad knew that this strike was a mocking one, and yet he could barely defend againts it.
"But even a fool, can strike down the criminal." he said. This time, there was no amusement in his voice. It was a deep, cold voice. It was a threat, and not an empty one.
