Chapter 7 - Surrender or die, I care little

Victor held his wound with his right hand, the pain was sharp and he could feel the blood leaving his body. It was not a pleasant feeling, but he was used to this. Supesu on the other hand was ready to fight, eager and most of all in a perfect condition to do so. She had no weapon, she had her hands, but her nails resembled talons or fang more than anything.

"So, you are Supesu huh? Vlad was pretty determined about getting rid of you. Wouldn't you say?" Victor stood up with a toothy smile.

"This fool of a vampire tried to do so, yes. He sacrificed his humanity for a complete erasure of her memories. But I am no memory."

"Then what are you? Another personality?"

"Why should I tell you that? You're about to die after all."

Victor grinned but she wasn't that far away from the truth. She had the upper hand here. Victor was tired from his fight with Vlad, plus the wound didn't help either. But he still readied his stance, awaiting Supesu to begin the duel.

She sighed: "Very well."

Victor was barely able to see her. She attacked like an animal, but with absolute precision and tactic of a human. If Vlad was to fight her, he would be definetly killed with this attack. She aimed for his heart, she meant to end this in one swift blow, but Victor, even with one hand, parried her attack. She was open for his strike. He didn't wait and attacked. The sword penetrated her torso. But no blood came out. As if she was made of smoke. Victor then felt a huge pain in his guts and flew a couple of meters away. The kick was certainly done, so that it would hit the wound.

Victor coughed blood and stood up, this time, he had to help himself with his sword.

"What was that, I hit her, why did no blood come out? That must be what you're thinking right? Sorry, but you can't hit me with that sword, and definetly not in that state."

"I actualy just realized that you kicked me straight in the wound, it hurts like hell." said Victor while laughing. "But yeah. Why is that?"

"Have you heard about the Aspects, Victor Velaestraz?"

"..." Victor did hear the stories about them from his parents, but he wanted to know what she had to say to the matter.

"When the breath of creation created this universe, it also created the Aspects. Fundamental beings that were the foundations of the universe. They have many names. Light, Darkness, Time, Power...Space."

Victor tilted his head a little. As to seem confused.

"Snow was born on a special day. Her blood was a perfect candidate for one of the Aspects to come down and finaly choose a vessel. Something that the Aspects did, after the Guardians defeated the Old Gods. But you know that, right? Your father was one of them. Velaeran the King of Storms."

"My father was many things, Guardian, Kings, but he never mentioned any other Aspects." he lied. Victor knew all about this. He was the youngest son, so he had to learn anything that could help him best his two prodigies of siblings. He stumbled about many records mentioning the Aspects, The Old Gods and the Guardians.

"Snow was gifted the power of Space. Any two places in the universe are connected to her. She is a bridge between any two spaces. However, this power was so much for the poor little brain. She couldn't handle the full extent of her powers. So, she created me. Supesu, the stronger older sister that would always be by her side."

"But you hold all of her powers. She is just a human, while you are the vessel."

"Correct, that's why killing her would be a murder. She has nothing to do with this conflict. That being said." she launched forward.

Victro parried again, but this time he evaded and parried any other incoming attacks. "It is time for you to die, Victor."
