On leaving the dance floor, three couples approached Alexander and Diana.
The three ladies were very similar with the same sapphire blue eyes and black hair.
The ladies seemed to be between thirty and thirty-five at the most.
They were elegant but each had a different aura. The first lady had a dominating and haughty aura.
The second lady had a youthful, mischievous aura, completely opposite to that expected of a lady her age.
The third lady had an aura as gentle as spring water.
The man who held the first lady had blond hair and green eyes. The reserved and discreet aura.
The man accompanying the second lady had black hair and eyes. The cold and indifferent aura as if nothing was interesting.
The third man had honey-colored hair and hazel eyes. The aura was even cooler than the second man's and had a hint of malice and a lot of danger. Even though the face was harmless, pale and sickly, the aura screamed danger.
They seem to be forty or forty-five years old. The tall, well-built bodies. They were the kind of men who were certainly excellent in their youth and yet they could easily attract girls who like their uncle.
"A beautiful dance, but there is a lack of manners to go and greet your aunt." The first lady scolded slightly.
"Sophia, not so hard. Flexibility is good". The third lady said in a low voice.
"Thalia, this is no time to be nice". Said the second lady.
"Alice, why don't you go buy a new bag and stop talking nonsense. Alexander took almost thirty years to get married. Now that you are married, do you and Sophia want to ruin everything? What if the girl runs away?" Replied the third lady, Thalia Dunkelheit Piet.
"I really wonder how you married Victor Piet." The second lady, Alice Dunkelheit Beaufort, sighed.
"Certainly because she is kind and sweet. Opposites attract." Victor Piet replied.
"Let's stop talking about unnecessary things. Alexander, shouldn't you introduce your wife?" Said Sophia Dunkelheit Brienne.
"Diana, these are my aunts. The first aunt is Sophia Dunkelheit Brienne, mother of Gallen, Louis and Eric. The second aunt is Alice Dunkelheit Beaufort, mother of Steve and Philippe. The third aunt is Thalia Dunkelheit Piet, mother of Henry and Anthony. These are my uncles, Richard Brienne, Michael Beaufort and Victor Piet."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Diana, it is wonderful to meet the elders. I feel it is absolutely objectionable that we have not met each other before. It is my malaise not to introduce myself to the various." Diana politely said an apology speech.
"It is certainly not his malaise but that of the detestable nephew who took him as his wife and did not have due attention to detail before introducing him to his elders." Sophia scolded him without mercy.
"Sophia, a little less! The little girl is going to run away." Thalia said in a low voice and seemed genuinely concerned that her older sister might make her nephew lose his wife.
Alice laughed lightly, as if she were watching a play.
Unlike the formal and dominating older sister and the kind and loving younger sister, Alice was always the most lively, carefree and mischievous.
She enjoyed watching the drama of others, just like her eldest son, Steve. She liked to laugh at someone else's misfortune as long as it did no harm to life.
For her, life was meant to have a lot of fun. And the cold and indifferent husband on the outside but who covered her with love and pampering was very much to blame for that.
Since young, Michael Beaufort never let his wife suffer any complaints or unhappiness. If she was unhappy about something, he would settle the matter so that Alice would smile again. He would love and pamper her to the bone and rarely did Alice have to worry about anything in life. Michael Beaufort was a slave to his wife.
Thalia, the most kind and kind aunt, has always had a calm, quiet and careful personality. Due to his kind and gentle personality, Victor Piet had a lot of work to pursue her. She saw him as a violent man involved with the underworld, which she never liked because she is a woman who likes to live in peace. However, everything changed when she saw Victor Piet's efforts to win his love.
He proved that even though he was a mobster, he still had a heart and that heart was just for her, but that was difficult. In the past, Victor Piet was a shameless playboy. The line of girls he had slept with would take two or three rounds in the city.
Everything changed when he met the sweet and kind Thalia Dunkelheit, who was someone who was worth leaving his life confused and investing in a future.
It took him three years, hundreds of bouquets of flowers, boxes of chocolates, plushies, jewelry and expensive items to move Thalia Dunkelheit's will a little.
When he finally managed to get her to accept being his girlfriend, Victor quickly made plans for the wedding and spoiled and loved her even more.
The dangerous mobster, a man whose hands are soaked in blood, would be a kind and honest husband to his wife. And he was honest with only her. I would treat it like the most valuable jewel in the world. And I would do everything I could to see your kind smile. He even attended the meetings of annoying parents of his children because that way, his wife would not be upset.
For his wife, Victor Piet did not hesitate to be sword and shield or lover and friend.
Sophia Dunkelheit Brienne was the most different of the sisters. She was a prosecutor. She liked to use her keen intelligence to uncover difficult cases to solve. She was not like the kind Thalia who studied art history or the lively Alice who studied music.
Sophia totally believed that you are your ability to solve problems. If you are bold and know how to use your mind with creativity and wisdom, you were worthy of talking to her, but if you couldn't, it would be considered useless trash in her eyes.
Richard Brienne was a businessman very famous for his tactics. He could do whatever he wanted without much effort.
Sophia and Richard Brienne met in college, in a debate, when she heard him talk about economic systems and changes that some laws could improve the whole system. The two talked about the topic and several others for hours and hours.
It didn't take long to develop some feelings. Richard Brienne supported her when she wanted to be a prosecutor, which old master Dunkelheit could not accept in any way. After all, he was much more connected to the underworld than later generations.
In the end, she got her diploma. She auditioned for a prosecutor and when she heard she passed, Richard asked her to marry him.
Richard Brienne is a discreet and quiet man most of the time but, underneath all elegance and discretion, he was a man with a deep and persistent mind. However, he was always extremely respectful and loving to his wife and saw her as a partner in everything. Both in the plans for a vacation trip until the acquisition plan in an un moral way of some company.
The three couples were different in many ways but the love was there, even after decades of marriage.
And if someone asked any of them about what was most important in their marriages, the answer would be unanimous: Mutual trust, mutual honesty, perseverance and dedication.
"Have you started planning for a big wedding ceremony?" Thalia asked gently.
"We are discussing the details of the dress first. I want to hold the ceremony before spring but Diana feels that a winter wedding can be uncomfortable." Alexander replied dryly.
"I also think winter is good. Social circles will be less busy after the new year and in the spring there will be a lot of events and parties. Always the busiest." Thalia commented in a low voice.
"Well, if the dress is ready by then, then it will be like that. The other details are not really worrying."
In fact, at a wedding, the really important part was the bride's dress. The details of the party could be arranged in a week, three days if a little effort was put in.
The group sat happilyat a table and talked about the details of the wedding and the Christmas party that would take place the following weekend.
Meanwhile, the other seven award-winning singles in the country received invitations to dance from all the single ladies at the banquet.
To the point that the boys just couldn't take it anymore and fled to a lounge with a pool table and a hidden bar at the end of the second floor of the mansion.
And by the end of the banquet, not even the shadow of these masters was found.
