Kiel was too busy chasing after the boy that he failed to notice that Lilia and Clouie weren't waiting for him to get back the pouch anymore. Alas, he still continued chasing like his lifeline depended on it as it is the key for him to make a connection with that Lilia. He saw the boy turn around a corner and as he turned as well, he was surprised as he was met with a dead end.
Strangely, the boy was nowhere in sight. His eyes scanned from left to right even from top to bottom but he really was unable to see any sign of the boy. It was very strange indeed…
As Kiel looked for any signs of the boy, unknown to him, the boy was already laughing at him from behind.
"Stupid! I am behind you, oh hero! It's a pity you can't play hero to that Lilia if you can't see me or even hear me! Hahaha."
"Uhm, Zack, I don't think you should continue playing around like that, you're invisibility will wear off in 28 seconds just to let you know."
The boy known as Zack exploded at his system and said "318! Tell me those kinds of things sooner!". He ran off to the opposite direction as he continued blaming his system.
Kiel was still at a stupor and he contemplated if there was any hidden passage in the walls. To his disappointment, he didn't find any. He sat at a nearby block of wood, dumbfounded and hopeless as he talked to his system.
"709, is it possible for a boy to jump over that wall which is six times higher?" To this, 709 angrily replied " You dumbass, of course, it is possible. Nothing is impossible in this world!"
Kiel felt more stupid as he felt it was useless asking his system about common sense. To his question, he felt it was very much impossible unless that kid has any superpowers. He went back to the marketplace, ashamed that he was unable to get back the stolen pouch. Truth be told, a small inkling in him was hopeful that even though he was unable to get it back, he can still return to Lilia and talk about it and in the course of such talk, he can slowly integrate a sense of familiarity between them. To his even greater disappointment, as he returned... no black haired girl was in sight.
