Chapter 776 - The Ark Of Heated Up

The Knight Of Rebellion noticed the change in expression and smiled while stabbing her sword into the ground. It looks like the opponent is confused with her past and the present. Mordred then proudly placed both hands onto the pommel and looked at the King.

"My true name is Mordred Pendragon, son of Arthur Pendragon! I am the only one and true heir to the throne!" announced the Crimson Knight as her Elemental Aura flared up.

"How could you have the same last name as me?! And more importantly... Why do you look like me?!" yelled the Black Knight as the area shook.

The Black Knight looked like she was keeled over as she tried to claw her face and eyes out. The enemy's Elemental Energy levels were chaotic and spastic as the armor faded in and out of existence.

The Valkyrie remained unfazed but concerned as Mordred's smile grew wider. Maybe Morgan's likeness was indeed imprinted onto her daughter.

But just when Mavislin thought the Knight of Rebellion was happy, Mordred shook her head vigorously and slammed her foot into the ground, causing a dent into the floor. Looks like Knights of Old also goes through mood swings.

"I don't know what's happening with you, but I can't say I like it... Pretending you've forgotten about me is pissing me off! Strike, Crimson Lightning!" yelled Mordred as she raised her sword above her head.

A giant bolt of bright red lightning hailed from the ceilings and down onto Mordred, along with several other smaller bolts to the outer rim of the area.

"Oi! Don't shake the area too much!" shouted Mavislin as she jumped next to the shaking King.

Artoria wasted no time and swung her weapon at Mavislin while Mordred rushed down and leaped toward her opponent. The trio clashed with each other as they shifted positions throughout the saves. Sparks flew as the mist on the King's weapon started to fade.

Mavislin watched closely as she tried to protect herself from the violent clashes between the two Knights. The Valkyrie wanted Mordred to fight against the King by herself, but as the two increased speed, it seemed that she had to step in soon.

Because Midori was stretched to the limit, Mavislin stabbed her sword into the ground and concentrated. The child can't last any longer. As she closed her eyes, her hearing was enhanced enough to predict the two Mages' fight.

"Mystic Tales; Sixth Wing: Dance Of The Flamed Tornado!" yelled Mavislin as she vanished and appeared beside the Black Knight.

With her sword high above her head, the Valkyrie breathed in deep and swung her sword down, causing her entire body to contort and do a forward circle. A giant wheel of flames with a grey hue launched at the Black Knight's back.

This significant attack caused the enemy to fly forwards and part of the armor to burn away. But as quickly as the attack, the armor's regeneration was quicker by the time Mordred attacked.

"Hah! We've got you now!" yelled Mordred as she swung Clarent at the Blackened King's left shoulder.

"Mordred, wait!"

Before the warning could reach, Mordred was blown back by the abrupt concealment of the Holy Lance. The Knight of Rebellion had no choice but to retreat towards Mavislin. The enemy slowly raised her weapon, and the ground was shaking uncontrollably...

Both girls were praying to the heavens that the rest were in position.

After Mavislin and Mordred had entered the chamber, the rest of the group tried to dig out the exits for the area so they could get into positions. The exits were halfway made so only Duncan and Rina could pass through the holes.

Bryan and Ashley needed to find another way to sneak in... Until the area started shaking like mad.

"What's going on in there? Are they trying to dig another hole within that empty room?" asked Rina, nearly missing a step.

"I have no clue, but I hope they aren't making the enemy unleash the final move this early... We aren't even at our positions yet..." said the Ankou as he swiped at more dirt and rocks.

The two came across a small opening within the floor, enough for both to fit through but not simultaneously. If it hadn't been the Ankou, they would've fallen in. As Rina peeped at it, she smiled.

"I don't know how we managed to do this, but we are above the main fight. And I can unleash both my spells without them noticing. Besides, people tend not to look up," commented Rina as she sat cross-legged on the floor before the opening.

"Right after you've unleashed your spells, I'm heading in after my incantation," said the Ankou as he swung his scythe brilliantly.

"Tch, show off..." complained Rina as she gathered up her Elemental Energy.
