"And, if we were talking about the real King being revived with his sword in hand and using his real body, then I would know how powerful that thing would be. But because Excalibur is a Divine Weapon, it can never be recreated properly with its full stats intact."
"As Mav described, Excalibur was forged by the powers of a group of Mages, so it won't be effortless to replicate it to the maximum power. So at least now I can expect to see the King weakened because he is stuck in a doll's body rather than his own," explained Mordred.
"That's a good thing to note, but we can't underestimate that blade, even if it's at half strength. Thus I've decided to have two Mages partake in this part of the fight. Which two would like the honors?" asked Mavislin, scanning the group.
The Slayer and Marksman Pillars both looked at each other and nodded before raising their hands.
"Our Main Elements are Water Elemental Spells, so we compliment each other well, not to mention we've worked together twice, and the results were all successful. I have full faith that we can stop the blast of any sword thrown at us," offered Ashley.
"I'm with him on that since I can use the Constellations to stop Excalibur from reaching us," added Bryan as he smirked proudly.
"Very well, with the victories of the Corrupted One and against the Knight of the Sun plus Merlin's joy fight, I will allow the Marksman and Slayer Pillars to intercept the King's blade. Please let us know your plan to do it," the Valkyrie instructed.
"As I said, I'll be using the Constellations, specifically the entire Argo, the ship of the ancient Greeks. The defense on that spell is higher than most shields out there, so it should be enough," Bryan confidently replied as he placed a hand on the tabletop.
Everyone stared at the beamed-out picture from the tabletop in awe... Some had never seen the constellations before as the skies were usually too cloudy. But now, they had a full view of the drawings of the skies.
A few Constellations were brightened as Bryan tapped the table again, causing the picture to be zoomed in and cancel out the rest of the Constellations. The result was a drawing of a ship. Mavislin looked at it with awe and a sparkle in her eyes. For the longest time, she loved the Greek Myths.
From the Twelve Labours of Hercules to the many adventures of the Argonauts, Mavislin created some of her most potent spells based on the legends of Ancient Greece. So it was the oh-so-sweet cherry on top when the Headmaster decided to make her Ancient Relic filled with such tales.
So when she saw the Argo, the Valkyrie could not help but wonder if it would be as strong as the legends had said. But Mavislin quickly calmed herself down and continued the briefing.
"Very well, what would be your move, Marksman?"
"Well, I have been researching my Original Spell before I got summoned back, but I don't know if I'm ready to pull it off. So if I don't have the strength to pull it off at the last point, I will use Triad Starlight or the weaker version of Lord Atlantia," replied Ashley.
"May I know what spell you are planning to use? And also, when did you have an Original Spell?" asked the Headmaster.
"What do you mean? I mean no disrespect, Headmaster, but isn't Ashley a Mage? Why wouldn't he have an Original Spell?" quizzed Rina, tilting her head to the side like a little puppy.
Bryan laughed inside as he saw the girl act like a confused pup before focusing on the task.
"Ashley was a human before he had an incident with a certain Time Mage. Even then, we don't consider him a Mage because of how odd the situation was. Ashley didn't have an Element, nor could he perform any spells. The only thing special about him is his eyes."
"They are set to see a few Ticks ahead from the normal flow of time when Ashley needs it," explained the Headmaster.
"Nah, that wasn't the case... Though I wish I could control it, I can't because I'm not a real Mage. But, at the time, I saw my surrounding a few Ticks earlier than others, so I looked like I was fast. And that helped with my sniping later, so I don't need the scope anymore."
"But back to the question; yes, I have an Original Spell. And that's because I was brought into Euphoria when I died. I remember my flesh burning and waking up in the middle of nowhere. After that, I was bored, so I looked around to find a small house."
