After Mavislin touched down on Albion's land, the Valkyrie knew she would be in for a rough time. The terrain was near the ocean with a rocky coast and low grasslands. Mavislin sighed as she walked around, trying to familiarize herself with the area.
With no trees to cover her movements, Mavislin was worried if she needed a quick escape. However, looking at the large body of water, the Valkyrie might use her Ancient Relic or let her Familiar run loose against her target. As she took another step, Mavislin smiled and shook her head.
Galahad may have been a great Knight, even finding the Holy Grail, but he was terrible at being a Mage because his Elemental Aura was not appropriately concealed. So it wasn't too tricky for Mavislin to sneak up behind her enemy and make the first move by kicking the Knight in the back.
The Knight of Heaven wore a knight's black robe and purple metal guards from the back. His armor wasn't too bulky, but it didn't feel flimsy either. Galahad's build was what the reports stated him to be, a muscular man with a tall height and flowing white hair.
As Mavislin stared at the man, she couldn't help but draw a relation between the Ankou and the man before her. But the Valkyrie quickly shook her head and flew towards the shocked man. Galahad was caught off guard and tumbled towards a large rock before yelling in pain.
The Valkyrie didn't even need to check if she had kicked the wrong person because Galahad did not bother to hide his Elemental Energy levels. The poor man tried to get up as he rubbed his head.
"Ow... What did I do to you?! Why can't you say something before you kick me like that?! I hate it when you always sneak up behind me like that, Gawain! Can't you be more normal?!" shouted Galahad as he got up.
But the Knight of Heaven has yet to see Mavislin, who was in her Empress form. So when Galahad turned around, the poor man was shocked by his life. A towering girl with wings of amber and flames was hovering in front of him.
Mavislin blinked, and her eyes changed from brown to glowing red, her hair turning from brown to red with orange tips. Her long flowing hair looked like snakes in Galahad's eyes when he saw how upset the Valkyrie was.
As for Galahad's appearance from the front, Mavislin was thrown off by how mature he looked as a grown man. Even Tomoe would be baffled by Galahad's looks. Because according to legend, the Knight of the Shield was supposed to be a young boy with an innocent face.
Not a man with eyes who could turn a girl into a woman. Mavislin tried not to get distracted since she already had Raiyen to think about. Not to mention that Galahad was the enemy. And since when did Mavislin feels these odd feelings for men?!
The Valkyrie annoyed herself, and her anger caused her wings to erupt with flames, further scaring the poor Knight.
"For a Mage to be so useless in concealing their Elemental Energy and Aura should be ashamed of themselves. Also, why would you think I am Sir Gawain?" questioned Mavislin as she folded her arms across her chest.
Galahad blinked for a moment before smirking. The Knight of Heaven then drew his sword and pointed at Mavislin.
"I was never a Mage, to begin with, and neither do I like using Magecraft to fight my battles. I thought you were my fellow Knight because I asked that man to run out to get food for me. Being stuck in this place will make your boredom wild, so I wanted to get some food to eat."
"But I can't leave this place because of the King's restraints. And Gawain is late with my food... Ah, but that's not what you want to hear... I am your target. So let's get on with this battle. But do me a favor of not calling in extra help, alright? I want this to be a one-on-one duel."
The Valkyrie relaxed as she complied with Galahad's strange request.
"I won't need any hand when dealing with a novice Mage like you... But why would you need to request such a thing? Are you afraid that I'm playing dirty?" questioned Mavislin.
"Oh no! I would never assume that you would be doing such underhanded things! I hear you are royalty, so I wanted the honor of fighting you without interference. And I don't want my King to know that an intruder has breached the area," explained the Knight Of Heaven.
Mavislin blinked rapidly before sighing at Galahad. The Valkyrie then pointed at the Knight and wiggled her finger disapprovingly.
