Chapter 722 - The Ark Of Galahad Vs Mavislin

"I'm not the only one who has touched down onto Albion. I've got my whole group here, and we are after different targets of the Round Table Knights. My Slayer should be up against the Knight of the Sun as we speak. I think he is winning," said Mavislin proudly.

"Oh? You seem pretty confident about your underlings. But isn't he the human one? How can a human be as efficient as a Mage? And I thought the Mages rejected humans because what happened after the Congregation? Or have I been out of the loop for too long?"

"Even if that Slayer was a good combatant, that man stands a chance against Sir Gawain. Moreover, that man is up against the Knight of the Sun, a Round Table Knight with the same power ranking as the King and can use the sister sword of Excalibur."

"My Slayer is a human Mage, the future generations of the world's Mages. Armed with overflowing power, I fully believe in my underlings to perform in these battles. But I've got to focus on mine before I care about the others," replied Mavislin as she cracked her knuckles.

"Hm... I am starting to like your resolve to fight and trust your brethren. Ah, I'd like to thank you for coming here. It makes it easier for me to destroy the Arks by killing one of the Founders!" announced Galahad as he rushed towards Mavislin.

The Valkyrie didn't blink as she titled her head to the side when Galahad thrust the sword towards her cheek. The Knight didn't scratch the opponent, and Mavislin looked bored as she pushed away the blade with her bare finger.

"Did you think you can defeat me, let alone kill me that easily with this needle? Are you trying to be a comedian? Or are you seeing me as the weakest opponent you've fought?" asked Mavislin with a dark tone.

"I didn't mean to belittle you as a Mage, but I thought that you look pretty young to be fighting like this. I wanted to go easy on you by scaring you, but I'm wrong. You are one of the Founders, right?" questioned

"It was a waste of Magecraft to be used on someone as incompetent as you... I will waste no time in killing you."

Galahad widened his eyes as he quickly swung his sword towards Mavislin's neck, only to be kneed in the abdomen by the Valkyrie's knees. The poor Knight coughed up blood before flying into large rocks.

However, Galahad had no time to rest as Mavislin appeared in front of him, ready to strike his chest with her fist. The Knight quickly rolled away and leaped into the air, plummeting to the ground with his sword above his head.

Mavislin smiled as she stayed still while Galahad tried to slash her from above.

"All waves rise and become my shield," murmured the Valkyrie as she looked at Galahad.

Several streams of Water Elemental Energy sprang out from the ocean beside them and formed a large, holographic shield right above Mavislin's head. The Knight of Heaven looked surprised but couldn't change the attack and clashed with the guard with full force.

"What in the world is that?!" yelled Galahad as he quickly disengaged and landed on a nearby rock.

"It's a shield that you should be used against me instead of the Sword of Balin. But seeing that you've been revived against your will, I think several ranks have reduced your skill levels. So it might be enough to fight low-leveled Mages but not me," answered Mavislin.

The holographic shield made out of water solidified into an absolute shield that was made of metal. It was a full-body shield with a serpent's tail coiled around a spear on the front. It was shimmering in ocean blue as Mavislin lifted it to show the Knight.

"Hmph... Making fun of me by using my type of weapon against me?! How cruel are you, Empress of the Arks? But never mind, since I'm back in this form armed with a sword, I have no choice but to fight you as such. So beware, Valkyrie of the Arks, for I am one of the Knights of the Round Table!"

"Have you forgotten who I am to you in life? I served as Mordred's steward during his reign as a Round Table Knight. I know how to read your movements like a book, so don't think you can win against me using your old tricks!" yelled Mavislin, channeling her Elemental Energy into the shield.

"I can say the same for you! My memories as a Knight of the Shield are still fully intact, so don't think that you can outsmart me with tricks!" roared Galahad, swinging his sword about with style to prove the command of his weaponry.
