"Are you sure you are still loyal to your King? Why did you allow the Darkness to consume your King if you were then? Take a good look at the new King Arthur that has been revived. I don't know if my sources are wrong or if I'm fully blind, but that doesn't look like a King I would look up to..."
"That looks and commands like a monster... Did the King ask you to go up to people on the streets to kill them? Were Camelot's foundations based on the random murder of your subjects?" asked Rina, insulting the Knight's past and pride.
"Stop... This... Insults! It won't affect me! We are going to build a paradise, and we will be pardoned! No more tears... No more... Pain and agony... No more wars... People like us don't need to continue living to see the end because we know our efforts... Will be..."
Rina could hear the crack in his voice as he realized the truth. Bedivere was going around, slaughtering men and other people deemed by his King as 'sinners' for a future that he couldn't see or be at. The Knight's mind was breaking apart as he stared to see the flaws.
This revelation caused his downfall as Rina saw an opening.
"Flower Dance; Stage Three. Petunia Rage!" yelled Rina as a string of Petunia flowers surrounded the Knight.
As the flowers blossomed, they created a string of explosions in pink and purple, causing the sand around to kick into a sandstorm. But the Butterfly Mage didn't rely on her sight to find her target.
Instead, with another flick, Rina appeared in front of the Knight and stabbed the spear through his body. Rina sighed and thought about how she had fallen from grace the same way that Bedivere did... But, she wanted a beautiful home and world for her child, so she became a monster...
At the time, Rina did it for her child. Bedivere was doing it for his beloved King. But... Ultimately, these ideas would've fallen because of others' opinions. Therefore, it was justified to claim lives even if they were filled with sin... Let those who have not sinned cast the first stone.
Who was going to cast the stone? No one will, and thus, this would create factions between groups of people... Who was right or wrong? The answer is simple; no one wins this fight for justice or reason. The winner is determined by who can put down the other person first.
And this time, Rina had the upper hand because she wasn't faltering. The Flower Mage remained headstrong even if the Knight tried his best to convince her that killing sinners would be for a more significant cause. Regrettably, Bedivere's excuses weren't in the right mind.
But Rina did feel bad for the poor man who was being revived with all his memories of serving King Arthur. So, as if the pain of tossing Excalibur into the lake and watching his King die in front of him wasn't enough, Bedivere was revived to help the new King to wreak havoc.
"I don't think that you are a weak Knight... Out of all the people I've met, you are the only one who could stand toe-to-toe with me in a battle of blades. There's nothing wrong about serving your King, but there is a problem when you are doing something that doesn't benefit you..."
"Your reign was over centuries ago. Camelot fell, and you need to accept that. It is unforgivable to the person that made you all come back to life when you could've been resting among the stars. So I'll ask you this, Sir Bedivere. Why are you so intent on returning to the Round Table of Knights?"
"Don't you want your King to continue his peaceful dream in Avalon? Why do you want him to suffer again? Don't you love your King?" questioned Rina softly as tears streamed down the Knight's face.
The next thing Rina heard was a snap. The Flower Mage quickly looked up to Bedivere, whose neck looked broken. Blood trickled down the Knight's eyes and mouth as his arms rose. The Knight's neck cracked as his head was forced to be in the correct position.
Rina was horrified at the scene; it looked as if someone had tied strings onto the Knight's body joints and tugged on them as if he was some puppet...
"I can't control this... I am... I can't..." muttered the suffering Knight as his veins started popping from underneath his skin.
Bedivere was starting to heal the stab wound despite being run through by a spear. Rina quickly sensed the danger and pulled out the spear. As she recovered, the Flower Mage was disgusted to find that the Knight was floating in midair, as if he was hanging by threads.
