Duan Chengyu managed to get into his office before collapsing on his seat. He felt the air leave his body after the encounter he had with his mother. Lan Tuo stood silently by as he saw how pale his boss's face had become, looking visibly shaken with his neck tie long gone.
"Chairman Duan, would you like me to get you some cold water to drink?"
The concern on the driver's face was very evident as he waited on Duan Chengyu to tell him what to do next.
"Mr. Lan! I need some time to think! Don't bother me until I call for you!"
"Yes, Chairman Duan."
As he was about leaving, he was called back all of a sudden by his boss.
