The sound of footsteps outside the door alerted her. While wearing an apron, she stopped cutting the vegetables and immediately went to the entrance of the house. The door slowly clicks open and a young man wearing jeans and simple T-shirt pushes open the door. "I'm home!" A smile blossoms on his face as he looks inside.
"Welcome home, deary," the woman replies back with her own charming smile. Wrapping her arms around him, she squeezes him lovingly. "How's class today?"
"T-The presentation was more or less a success. Mr. Alan at least gave us some praises," he struggle to answer until his mother finally lets go. "Good to hear, deary. Now, hungry for some salad?"
"I'm lavished," his mom nods happily, "alright, it's gonna be ready in fifteen minutes." Then, he proceeds to go into his room and drops his bag on the bed. Just when he was about to change his shirt, his suddenly stops. He feels as if his heart stop for second. Then, he heard something crashed from the kitchen. He turns around and sees his mom begins to shiver while standing with the plates all broken on the floor. Slowly, her eyes become watery and droplets starts to flow down her face.
"Mom! Are you alright?" The young man runs over and look worryingly at his mother.
"No! No!" His mother shook her head side to side while her voice is muffled by her hands covering her mouth. "It's too early!" Then, she looks up at his son and more tears fall across her cheek. Suddenly, everything shook. An earthquake?! However, it ends abruptly as it appears. Then, it appears again. Stops and once again shaking everything around them. As if a giant made them with its footsteps.
"What is happening?" His mother suddenly stops shivering and looks over her son resolutely.
"Deary, I love you, and no matter what I do, it is for you. So, please forgive mommy for this," his mother suddenly turn around his back and putting one of her arm around his neck tightly. With a surprise look, the young man tries to struggle out of the choke hold. However, her arms won't budge like a vice. Also, the grip is slowly getting stronger. Starting to lose his breath, he struggle a lot harder. He could feel some of his mother's tear on the back of his neck.
"F-Forgive mommy for doing this. After this, you must s-survive and grow strong. And wait for mommy to find you," she squeezing out her words trying to hold back more of her tears coming out. Then, he could he something snapped. He could no longer feel his body while his view slowly gets darken. Just before everything turns quite, he heard a muffle sound of his mother's wailing and a large boom all around him.
