"Well, I see she's awake, did you get her name?" Dad asked as I shook my head.
I wasn't quite sure if he meant get her name as in for like a date or just for his sake so he can help her.
"She has amnesia due to the Donz Tiger's venom. How long will that take to recover?" I asked as Dad pondered.
"At least a month." He replied as he turned his attention to the girl.
"Who are you?" She asked weakly, the venom was running it's course.
Dad didn't reply as he gave her a shot in the arm, which she didn't even flinch for, just sat there and watched him give her the shot in the arm.
"This will stop the venom from killing you. I, on the other hand, am Quarone, Thrush of this village." Dad explained as she nodded.
"I am Rose." She stated as Dad cocked his head.
"I gave her that name just for now. She's got a tattoo on her neck of a rose." I explained as Dad nodded.
"Now, I have to stitch you up, you're wound will stop seeping then. Do you mind if my son does it?" Dad asked as she shrugged.
"If it stops this red stuff, I'm okay with it." She replied as I raised an eyebrow.
Red stuff? How badly of Amnesia did this girl have?
Dad gave the girl another shot, explaining that it wound numb around the area that needed to be sewn, so she wouldn't feel pain. Laying her down, I began to stitch her back together.
"I'm hungry." She stated as I had just finished sewing her.
"Vladimir will show you to the kitchen where you can get something. Won't you Vlad?" Dad asked, using my nickname to get my attention.
"Yes." Was my only response as I helped her stand up.
"Thank you." She told me as we walked down the hall.
"For what?" I asked.
"Stitching me up, feeding me. I may have amnesia but I don't want to go anywhere without thanking the person who helped me." She stated as I nodded.
"Well, it's mostly Dad who did the work with the shots." I tried to say but she frowned.
"I know, I need to thank him later. Are you always so hot?" She asked which caught me completely off guard.
"W-What?" I asked as she giggled, a small and cute sound that seemed to bless my ears.
"You're hot. Is that normal for a guy?" She asked as I felt the heat begin to rise in my cheeks, into my ears.
"Well, not all guys are hot, especially me." I told her as she frowned.
"Why would you say that?" She asked as I sighed.
"I guess it's been a thing since I was younger and learned that I had different skin than my father. I always wanted red skin, I envy my father for the way he looks different than the average human." I explained as she smiled.
"Do all girls like you?" She asked, changing the subject was my assumption.
"Ah, many of the girls in the village follow me around when I'm off duty. I don't know why, but it only gets annoying when they get in the way of training or something." I answered as her eyes sparkled.
"You train? Does that mean you have super powers?" She asked as I chuckled.
"Well, yeah, I guess I would call it 'super powers'. I can control fire." I told her as her eyes seemed to sparkle more.
"Fire, could you teach me some time? " She asked as I pondered.
"You need to have the power of fire to access the fire power's techniques. But, after you eat I'll see if Dad would let me show you around town. When we get to the training grounds is when I'll try and teach you." I explained as she smiled, a bright white and wide smile.
"Thank you!" She chimed and kissed my cheek, causing me to turn a tomato red.
"Vladimir, who is this?" The kitchen chef, Vlondie, asked me as we entered the kitchen.
"She is known as Rose right now until her amnesia clears." I explained as Vlondie looked over Rose.
Vlondie was a thin man, who had tan skin, brown hair always hidden by his chef hat, a mustache that curled around at the edges, and violet eyes. He was currently wearing his chef outfit which consisted of a long white top with buttons down the middle, and midnight black pants.
Rose was gazing at the immense kitchen when Vlondie finally spoke.
"Would Madam like something to eat?" He asked, as she turned to him.
"What do you serve, sir?" She asked as he shrugged.
"Anything that your heart desires." He replied plainly as she looked to me for help.
"How about some turkey? Vlondie could make a sandwich or a stew out of it." I tried to help as she pondered.
"Okay, a turkey sandwich please, sir." She stated as Vlondie chuckled.
"Just call me Vlondie, madam." He replied as Rose and I sat at the table waiting.
