Chapter 1 - Siblings' Introduction

Earth, a round planet made off rocks. In this very beautiful ball of rock, we can see a species classified as humanity.

There are many types of humans depending on many factors. We can divide humans into the rich, the poor, the middle-class, the homeless, and many more.

And here we have buildings, made by the humans. Each buildings serves different purposes at different times. They named these buildings proper names such as The Police Sation, The Hospital, The House, The Motel, The Mall, The Restaurant, and many many more.

And here we have our boy, Kyukyu. A boy that lived with his siblings in a 2 floor house, in Japan.

He had an older brother, an older sister, and a little sister.

The brother was the oldest, he is 20 years old. His name was Rye. He was told to keep the house safe when his parents went for a permanent house in USA. He cared for his young siblings very much. Unfortunately though, he is a complete otaku. He played games and watched animes all day. But sometimes he did stream some games. But obviously he wasn't the main source of money for the sibling family.

Instead of him, the main source of money was the second sibling, Kyukyu's older sister. Her name was Miya and she was 18 years old, a bit younger than Rye. She worked as a mangaka and an author for japanese novels. She gave and shared her earnings to the whole family.

Obviously, she had to work hard. Which meant her communication with the other sibling and her friends deteriorate overtime. She talked rudely every time and seem to hate every one even though she is actually caring and nice inside.

Then we have Kyukyu, a 13 year old boy given education by a high rated school. At home and near his family, he is quite silent, but he did speak a lot when he had to speak. But near his friends, he is not silent. He talked a lot even when he wasn't chosen to talk. But when the teacher talked, he shut his mouth and listened in full focus.

Kyukyu took education really seriously at school, but believe it or not, at home, he is also an otaku. He played online games and watched animes a lot. He also had a bedroom which had many pillows in it.

And we get to the last sibling, Hyanaki. She is a cheerful, tricky 8 year-old that didn't take education seriously, bossed around too much, and basically to ecstatic at every point in time. She followed Rye and joined in his streams a lot. Even though she didn't play too much, she was always good at games.

These 4 live in a house with 2 floors and 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. One big room for all Rye's gaming and anime stuff, one medium room for Miya's inspiration and work place, and the other 2 was obviously given to the youngest since they didn't need much room for anything.

Each sibling played a role in keeping the house running. Rye who kept the house safe, Miya who gave the whole family financial support, Kyukyu who ,believe it or not, cooked for the whole family, and Hyanaki who bossed around a lot, but she did make things perfect inside the house.

Each year they also celebrated Christmas. And every Christmas day, each of the siblings switched gifts.

This Christmas, Kyukyu gave a newly released Action-Ecchi-Fantasy manga for free to Rye, Rye gave a new digital drawing set for Miya, Miya gave Hyanaki her very first phone, and finally Hyanaki gave Kyukyu a useless item.

"A pillow!?! Imouto you literally give me pillows every 3 months! Now I have like 9 pillows in my freaking bedroom!!"

"C'mon! You will never get tired of pillows.."

"THIS ONE IS PINK IMOUTO!! PINK!!"

"You'll need a rainbow of colors in your room."

"Pink is freaking girly. I don't like it. I don't like any pillows now, even if it's fluffy."

Kyukyu dropped the pillow on the wooden ground. Hyanaki glanced at the pillow and thought 'There's nothing wrong with this pillow bro.'

"I'm tired of your games Naki!", He shouted while the others listened very. Rye and Miya didn't stop him since he is quite hard to stop when he is mad.

Hyanaki took the big pillow and pushed it against Kyukyu's chest until he fell backwards.

"Don't judge a pillow by its color, you idiot." She said in a cheerful way.

"Did you just call me an idiot?!", he said with a muffled voice.

"I'll say this once more Imouto! I'm tired... of your.. games...." His voice silenced.

A few seconds after his silence, he lifted his hands and placed them on top of the pink pillow. Then he pushed down on it, hugging the pillow.

The room went into silence.

"This... is... soft... and fluffy..", He said slowly. He said the truth though, the pillow did had a furry outside that made it fluffy.

Then he turned his body to the left, and properly hugged the fluffy pillow. Even though it was a rectangular pillow, he still hugged it.

"So what did you say?", his imouto said to him, questioning his own words.

He finally snapped out of his calm state and went back to himself. He pushed himself up and sat down on the floor, while still hugging the fluffy pillow.

Her statement made him embarrassed and made his face red. He tried to hide his smile behind the fluff of the pillow but Miya and Rye can still see that embarrassment, since they were behind him. It was rare to see Kyukyu in an embarrassed expression.

Rye felt empathy since he didn't want Kyukyu to suffer in embarrassment, he wrapped the small gift session up.

"Alright guys, gifting session is done, go back to doing your business, it's like 10 A.M. and I need to stream at 10:15.", he said.

"Yeah, I've got to finish 30 pages in 3 weeks, I'll start now."

Rye stood up and walked upstairs. Miya followed a bit later. They both went to their own room.

Hyanaki smirked and looked at Kyukyu in a quite sinister way.

"Don't stop hugging the thing, you look so cute while doing that, even though you are a boy."

Then she went back to her room to do basically nothing.

Kyukyu froze by her sinister leer. Then he snapped out and went back to his room while hugging the pillow trying to cover his embarressment.

Here starts our story of a boy who loved his new pillow.
