Lucinda
I slowly peel my eyes open once again, tired of waking up in this damn infirmary room.
"We still have to investigate her. She can be-" A unfamiliar voice hissed, a cold ice to its dark tone.
"No! She isn't dangerous I don't care if she has an orb or relic or whatever the hell you call it inside her-" Arhers voice responded, anger sounding through his familiar voice.
"No no no, it isn't just inside if her. She's wielding not one, but two orbs! She should be dead! " The unfamiliar voice retorted. I closed my eyes, taking a shuddering breath as my gut started to burn.
"She is stronger than you think-" His voice cut off as he glanced over at me.
"Look at her... At the light emenaring from her body! She can't control it! " The unfamiliar voice cried. Slowly, I sat up, groaning in pain.
"Oh good you're up" The man spoke. My eyes caught into his and I froze. His dark gray eyes are locked on me intensely, his dark hair slightly curling at his neck, barely touching his eyebrow.
" I want you to leave" Archer hissed at the man. I closed my eyes, touching my stomach. Two orbs?
"I will. But don't come crying to us when your home is a war zone" The man declared before walking out, shutting the door behind him with a silent click.
We just sat there, in silence for several minutes. Neither looking at each other, and neither focused on just one thing.
"You have something. A present from a visitor. It's on your dresser" Archer spoke. His voice was cold, ivy even, and devoid of the warmth I usually got from him.
I looked on my dresser, my eyes widening as I noticed the necklace. Slowly I went to touch my throat, feeling where I had reach hundreds of times for a missing piece of me.
"Christopher.. " I murmured, tears filling my eyes. I reached over, grabbing the familiar gem stone necklace, turning it over to read the encryption on the back, a smile on my face.
You are my forever and always, Lucinda Pierce. - Christopher
I closed my eyes, feeling the tears prick my eyes as sadness filled me, a memory rising from the depths of my mind.
*******
"Christopher! " I yelled, storming after him as he walked. He stopped, looking up before turning to me, his silver green eyes dark with emotion.
"Lucinda please-"
"No. You are not leaving me. " I tried ignoring the tears burning my eyes.
"I can't keep working for your father. It kills me inside each day" He tries to explain, but I shake my head, grabbing his hand.
"Forever and always remember? We're engaged and if you leave everything we have is done. I'll never see you again and this-" I grip the necklace hanging from my neck, an ache in my heart. Heartbreak looking near.
"Means nothing... And this means everything to me Chris. I love you please.. " I closed my eyes, feeling the tears start streaking my cheeks.
"I love you Hestia" He murmured, pressing a kiss against my lips. I closed my eyes, melting into his embrace, which I may never feel again.
"I love you too Chris.. " I close my eyes, not baring to be able to see him.
"But it's over.. Isn't it? " I asked. He nodded, a sad smile on his face as he cups my cheeks.
"I'm sorry My Hestia. " He murmured. I shook my head, stepping back and letting the tears fall. Heart break filling me as I try to hold back my tears, majorly failing as I reach for the necklace around my neck. I pulled it off over my neck.
"If you really loved me... You would fight for us. The way I have fought for you, every damn day" I cried. I opened his hand and shoved the necklace in it.
"Have a nice life" I murmured, before turning around and storming away, finally letting my sobs over take me.

I lifted the necklace up over my head, feeling it settle to its natural place at the hollow of my throat.
"He kissed you, you know. He still loves you. In his own way" Archer whispered. He walked over to me, kneeling.
"But Christopher.. He's the one that almost killed you. And Evelyn and me. " He started. I shook my head, the tears in my eyes falling faster now, trying to deny the truth,
"No.. Chris wouldn't.. He wouldn't" I felt pain in my heart as I sobbed, clutching my chest to ease the pain of renewed heartbreak.
"GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH! " A familiar female voice yelled at Archer. He moved away, revealing Evelyn and Tara standing at the door, glaring him down.
"Fine" He whispered, before standing and walking away. Tara and Evelyn watched him as he left, before walking over to me and sitting down.
"Oh Lucie" Tara murmured, pulling me into a hug where I started sobbing even harder, letting all the pain of my past loose in her arms. Slowly, I felt Evelyn's arms wrap around me too.
"It's ok.. Let it all out" She murmured, rubbing my back, causing me to cry harder.
"We're here for you. " Tara whispered, running a hand in my hair.
"We always will be. "

I stand outside, breathing in the night air. The faint feeling of heartbreak still lingers, but it's at bay. Like all my emotions. I looked around at the trees, and the village.
"This village won't be a war zone. It'll be my Queendom" I whispered, opening my arms wide. I closed my eyes as gold light started flowing from my body, leaving me with a strange sensation in my gut as the light whipped through the village, doing god knows what.
I'm a Phoenix. I'm a healer. I'm a creator. I felt my eyes grow heavy, but I still remained standing, until the sensation faded.
I opened my eyes, and gasped at what was created before me.
What was once a small worn down town, was now renewed. Buildings of massive color now replaced abandoned, destroyed homes. Everything that was once dead, now restored with bright life. The whole village, now renewed and alive.
"This is just the first step" I told myself. I ignored the cramps in my body as I stood tall, looking at what I created, a sense of pride filling me.
"L-lucinda? " A small voice squeaked. I jumped, turning around to see Evelyn staring at me. Behind her stood Tara, her eyes wide with pride and surprise.
"Evelyn? " I asked. She grinned, hugging me.
"Thank you thank you thank you!! " She cried, squeezing the life out of me
I smiled, hugging her back.
"Of course" I locked eyes with Tara, and a look of understanding passed between us. I just saved a village. And the orb embedded in me, is to thank for that.
