Archer
All I felt was a hollow emptiness as Evelyn spoke, her beautiful eyes filled with confusion as she asks who I am. She forgot me. She fucking forgot me and everything we've been through. I could feel tears brim my eyes. Originally I had lost her as a girlfriend which was tolerable. Now I lost her as a friend. She does not remember me or anything that happened between us.
"E-evelyn" I murmured, feeling my choked voice slip through my lips. She raised her eyebrows, staring at me with confusion.
"Who are you, and how do you know my name! " She yelled. I gulped, looking down. She glanced over at Lucinda, her teil orbs staring pleadingly into hers.
"Lucinda please tell me who he is! Why is he here! How does he know me! " Evelyn demanded, getting desperate to know who I am.
"H-his name is Archer... You're ex.. Don't you remember him? " Lucinda asks. For a minute, pure hatred flashed across her face, before being replaced with her confused look.
"No. I don't remember him, " She furrows her dark eyebrows.
"Evelyn" I whisper, kneeling by her.
"Hey it's ok-" I start as she scrambles away from me. She shakes her head violently.
"Please Get away from me! " She cried. I nodded, feeling an ache in my chest, before I stand up and walk out the room. A few minutes after, Lucinda follows me out.
"Arch-" She starts before I grab her wrist and gently pull her into a hug, my arms tightening around her waist as I place my head on hers. She slowly hugs me back, her arms wrapping around my neck as she presses her face against my chest.
"You're the only person I have left" I started with a shaky voice. Memories of my mother's sad eyes as she ran out the door. Running from my fathers wrath. Never to come home again,
"Please don't leave me Lionheart" I whispered. She nodded, looking up into my eyes.
"Only if you stay with me.. " She whispers, leaning her head back on my chest. I nod, feeling a breath I didn't know I was holding release itself.
"That was my father" She speaks softly. I look at Lucinda, my eyes wide.
"What? " I asked, confused. She sighs, stepping out of my arms.
"My father.. He has the power of mind control called Mancipium. It gives him the power to alter minds and even body features. " She explains slowly. For a moment she closed her eyes, before opening them, showing off the violet.
"It leaves a mark though. Only the strongest of his experiments can show the mark. The color their eyes turn into" She finishes. My eyes widen.
"You're a-"
"Experiment? Yeah.. He experimented on all three of his daughter's. Isabelle, Mae and I.. I became the best of them.. So he put more time into me than any of the other experiments.. His perfect subject, strong enough to be a god" She looks down, disgust feeling her face.
"I didn't realize what he had done to me until... I almost killed someone. " She finishes.
"I'm a monster, Archer. I have never found a man or woman to truly love me. The minute they see this" She raises her palms, and flame erupts from them, dancing on her fingertips.
"They run. " I laugh lowly, before grabbing her hand, feeling the fire damper on my hand. Her eyes widen with shock as she looks at me.
"You're beautiful Lucinda... You're strong.. Sweet.. Kind... You're just amazing. No amount of magic can change that" I whisper, my hands still cupping hers.
"Why do you still tolerate me? After the hell I've put you through.. And I know you've considered giving up on me.. So why? " She murmurs, her eyes looking up at me softly. I close my eyes, feeling a slight prick of nervousness.
"Because, Lucinda Novah Peirce" I start, brushing a stray hair from the front of her face to her ear, a small smile playing at my lips.
"No matter how broken you are, you're worth fighting for" I answer her question. Her lips part in surprise, before I give her a sad smile, turning away from her and walking away,
"Archer! " Lucinda yells, calling after me. I turn around, just in time for Lucinda to throw herself into my arms, her lips smashing onto mine as she kisses me, her arms wrapping around my neck. I smile into the kiss before my arms wrapped around her waist, kissing her back, electricity shooting from my lips to every part of my body.
"What was that for" I whispered, breathless after our kiss. She smiles softly, a blush tainting her cheeks.
"You're worth fighting for too. " She whispers, before turning and running back from the way she came, leaving me speechless, my fingers touching my lips. She kissed me. I grinned, a blush settling on my cheeks.
"This girl.. " I start before walking away.

Lucinda
"You kissed him! " Tara Coos, a grin on her lips. I blush, rubbing my neck.
"He said I was worth fighting for.. And I know if guys are just trying to get in my pants... But Archer.. He was sincere. He didn't bat an eye as he told me the exact reason he hasn't left me like every other person who I gain feelings for" I explain.
"So you do have feelings! " Tara screams. I blush even darker, probably looking like a lobster.
"For the first time since I remembered.. I am completely over Christopher. And I wouldn't be where I am with that if not for him" I try again, blushing hard. She laughs.
"You realize, you never really hung out with him? There were just occasional strolls, arguments, and even sword fights. Not a real attractive way of falling for someone" She teases. I shove her.
"I don't love him.. I just have a small case of the honey glows." I scolded her. She laughs.
"Then go ask him on a date! I'll take care of Evelyn, but you go get your man! " She exclaimed. I shook my head.
"It isn't right to Evelyn" I start. She shakes her head.
"She healed Archer and gave both, her love for him AND her memories of him so he could live. Even if she could remember, she wouldn't care if you guys dated. Because she doesn't love him anymore. So go. " She reassures me. I nod, before jumping up and throwing my door open, running face first into Archer.
"Ow" I complain while he chuckles, helping me stand.
"Archer will you go on a date with me"
"Lucinda will you go on a date with me" We said in unison. I laughed, a smile playing at my lips.
"Yes, I will" I answer his request. He grins, a blush covering his cheek before he holds his arm out to me. I grin cheekily as I wrap my arm through his, and follow him.

Evelyn
I stare into the darkness, fear choking me as the violet eyes glow in front of me, the darker version of myself smirking at me.
"What do you want! " I cried at her, wrapping my blankets tighter around myself.
"I'm only here to help you darling" The woman spoke back, her voice distorted with power.
"Thas bullshit if I ever heard it" I glare, standing up.
"Fine... I need access to my daughter.. " The woman starts, the smirk growing with the violet light.
"And you're the best way to do it" The woman's body shifted, turning into a tall man. I screamed at his appearance. White hair, violet eyes, and demon horns sticking out of his head, a large violet sword hanging on his back, twin to Lucindas.
"This body is mine now. " He chuckles. I stand up, but gasp as he snaps, feeling my body control ripped from me.
"Now, you'll do exactly as I say" He chuckled, his deep voice resonating in my bones, making the fear in me rise.
"and you'll Kill Lucinda Pierce. "
