Darylle pulled his loose trousers to his knees as Erik drive the car through the highway of the city. He already told him his home address so he sat there silently. On their way to the street out of the highway, Darylle saw the display window of a boutique and started at it, admiring the style of the clothes on the mannequin.
"So what's with the cartolinas?" Erik interrupted him. He rolled his eyes, still pissed at how he let Erik take him home. He tried to sound nice. "I have to make paper flowers for stage decor." He answered. "Are you a wedding planner?" He asked. Darylled smiled. "I wish."
"So what's your job?" He asked. Darylle grinned at him which he noticed and somehow felt alarmed. "I'm a licensed drug lord." He joked. But judging on Erik's face, he seemed confuse and a bit scared at the same time. "My uncle is a police, you know." He said. "My uncle is a police as well back in my hometown." Darylle said smiling.
"Seriously, what's your job?" He asked again. But this time smiling as he seemed to get the joke. "Well, I really am a licensed drug lord. I'm a pharmacist." He answered. "Ahh." Erik replied, finally getting the idea of the joke. "That's a good one." He added.
"So what about you?" Darylle asked. "Are you so bored that you want to drive me home?" Erik smiled. "Well, I just got here from Denmark. I graduated from UB but most of my friends are not here anymore." Darylle leaned at his seat as they finally reached the street leading to his home. "So you are really bored."
"Not really. Now that I have a friend." Erik replied. "Who?" He asked and realized who Erik was referring to. Darylle laughed. "So we're friends now?" Erik grinned at him. "We can be more than that if you want." He said which somehow made Darylle a bit glad. But he can't lower his guard. Not now.
"Woah. that's way too fast you know. Besides, my uncle would kill you and my grandmother will skin you." Darylle said. "And I'm not even pretty. I'm not a girl. Lol." He added.
"You're cute." Erik countered. Darylle stared at him. "Stop it or I'll break your I.D. on my ass." He threatened.
"Fine, fine. I just want to be friends." Erik laughed. "Okay." Darylled replied. "So we're friends now?" He pressed. "Do I have a choice?"

Darylle told Erik to stop the car in the crossing between a street that leads to the highway and the street where they passed by. "So where's your house here?" Erik said as Darylle got out from the car and started unloading the cartolinas from the back seat. "Just one around here." He answered safely. "Oh. So you think I'm a stalker." He smiled as Darylle saw him being amused.
"Wait...did you notice my phone while we were on our way here?" Erik asked as he scanned inside his car. "Uhm no. You must have placed in somewhere." Darylled said as he carefully arranged the cartolinas in a file where he can carry it in one go.
"I'll call it in exchange for the ride." He said as he took out his phone and handed it to Erik. "Dial your number." He told him. He gave back his phone after dialling his number and Darylle waited for his phone to rang inside his car. As soon as he noticed it rang, someone answered the call and heard Erik's voice, both in the phone and in person said, "Hi!"
It was a trap. "Wow. That was smooth." Darylle said as he shoved his phone to his bag and then took all of the cartolinas inside his car. He pushed the door with his hips and closed it.
"Thanks for the ride." He said as he looked into the driver's seat. "My pleasure." Erik said smiling.
"Go now. I don't want anyone seeing us together." Darylle said.
"Why not?" Erik wondered.
Darylle rolled his eyes. "Because you would he the first guy to drive me home and we're barely friends and they knew I don't have male friends. Not that I am not friendly to boys. But they knew well I don't have a close boy friend."
Erik didn answer but smiled as he look at the street.
"I guess I'll go now." He said.
"Thanks. Bye." Darylle said as he waited for him to leave.
"Don't say bye. This won't be the last time." He said and then closed the window of the front seat.
The car left before Darylle started walking towards his uncle's house, without anyone finding out how he got home.
