Mutating Worlds

The sky turned bright gold as the oceans turned blood red. The day the gates opened. The day humanity got screwed by both demons and angels. The day humanity got its first powers. I was on a train leaving London when I saw my first gate. The gate looked like blood red ice and was large enough for Godzilla to walk through. It rose from the ground and the nearby districts were destroyed. I later learned how lucky I was. If I was not leaving to meet my aunt then. I would have probably died. At that time everyone was panicking and trying to look up what was happening or calling others but nothing worked. All connections were down. Then, everyone fainted. This is where my story starts.
