After completing the match acceptance paperwork, Omari walked me to the train station so I could go home.
"Next time, I'll come to your house and say hello. For now, I have to get back to campus. I have an exam to study for and my mom will kill me if my grades slip now," he chuckled rolling his eyes at the thought.
"Oh okay. When will I see you next, Oma…..Oppa?" I said cautiously. Omari smiled down at me.
"You'll catch onto the name sooner or later. It'll take some adjustments," he said softly, taking my hand into his. He bent down to my ear.
"I have ways of getting you to call my name," he whispered deeply. I shuddered, realizing what he meant by "ways".
"Well you won't be able to use those tactics till I'm ready," I huffed looking away from him. Omari laughs and pulls me into him.
"I wasn't even thinking of that, but I'm glad to see where your head is at," he smirked. I gasped and lightly slap his arm.
Wait...how was I already so comfortable to be play hitting him? I brushed it off and looked up at Omari.
"You didn't answer me. When will I see you next?" I asked a little more assertively. Omari pondered for a bit before giving me a small smile.
"How about I come get you next weekend and you can check out Meiji's campus. I can introduce you to my friends," he said softly. I blushed a little. I couldn't believe he wanted to introduce me to his friends and let me stay over….
Was I going to actually stay over at a university campus? Would my mother even allow that?
"Ah, I'll have to talk to my mom about it, but okay. That sounds like fun," I said with a small smile. Omari grinned back at me.
We arrived at the train station and had to go our separate ways since I lived in a different direction. Omari gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"Send me a text when you get home safely. Don't forget okay?" Omari cautioned before getting on the train. I waved goodbye before walking away to my train's platform.
My whole life just changed in a matter of hours. How was I going to tell my mom we accepted the match right away just like that? How was I going to convince her to let me stay over at his place more importantly?
Did I even want to stay at his place? I know he said he wouldn't do anything to me that I wasn't ready, but I never thought to myself if I was ready for such steps. I mean, sex isn't a big deal but it's a big deal at the same time. I shook my head and put my earbuds in.
We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. I selected a playlist as the train arrived at the platform and hopped on.
It doesn't take long before the train reached my stop. I hopped off and started to make my way out of the station. Thankfully, we did not live very far from the train station because I was exhausted from the day. I also still had on my uniform which was not always the most comfortable thing to travel around in.
When I got home, it was awfully dark and quiet in the house. I turned on the lights and took off my shoes.
"I'm home! Okaa-san, where are you? Kanae? Baba?" I shouted. I walked towards the living area and saw my mother sitting on the couch with just a lamplight on.
"Okaa-san, is everything okay? Why are you by yourself? More importantly, what's for dinner?" I laughed walking into the kitchen.
"Kimiko, come here for a minute," my mother said patting the seat next to her. I raised my brow and walked over to couch.
"I got a call from your school. They said you disappeared with some guy. I've been trying to call you, but the call went straight to voicemail every time. Who were you with? Why didn't you answer me?" my mother panicked grabbing my hand. I patted her hand and smiled.
"It's okay, Okaa-san. I was with my match, Omari-san. He came to meet me. As for your calls, are you sure you have the right number? I never received any calls from you," I tried to reassure her. She grabbed her phone and went to the call log. She sighed and looks up at me.
"I was calling Kanae's phone which is off because I took it from her so she would study," my mother chuckled. I laughed, knowing my mother could be an airhead sometimes.
"So you met your match huh? How did that go?" my mother began to pry. I opened my mouth to speak and immediately closed it. I got up and ran off to my room.
"Kimiko! You'll have to tell me eventually!" my mother shouted after me.
I closed and locked my door, before looking at my phone. I opened a new message.
To: Omari-san
