The heat is scorching, piercing through her skin. She is lost. Broken. All she could hear is the sound of her own heart shattering into pieces. The tears in her eyes keep flowing on their own accord. She couldn't help it. She didn't care. She couldn't talk either. She could not think. All she sees is the image of her man lying naked in their bed with her bestfriend curled naked in his side. In her side of the bed.
She wanted to shout at them but couldn't. They were both shocked seeing her this time of the day. She normally doesn't go home for lunch but she did today. She wanted to surprise Diego of the news of her being pregnant. But she is rendered more dumbfounded with the surprise that was waiting for her.
Her feet took her outside their small apartment and is now standing in the bus stop in a 32 degrees Celsius heat. Four buses have already passed and she haven't moved an inch from where she is standing.
Diego obviously didn't run after her.
How long have they been doing this?
How did she become oblivious to what was happening when she was not around.
Why is this happening to her?
Until it dawned to her.
She is nothing but one his girls.
A girl that was kept behind doors.
The girl behind the doors.
