Shin Ling had been fuming for months. He had still not gotten over being embarrassed by that fraud bumkin. The his own father abandons his cultivation into focus on that MAN! His own father was even nervous to speak to a foreigner! Shin Ling would never admit how terrified and helpless he was to stop from being sent flying from a simple swing of the wrist like he was a speck of dust. He had broken multiple bones and his own father hadn't even looked this way at a peasant insulting his own son! Shin Ling was fuming for hours and had already fished one bottle and needed more wine. "Servant! Bring me more wine."
Shin Ling waited a few seconds before realizing that no sound came from outside. Things were unnaturally quiet.
"Servant are you deaf or seeking a death wish for you and your family by ignoring me. Servant!"
Shin Ling now knew something was wrong now that his threats weren't responded to. He immediately went outside to see no one around. The sect is usually full of servants cleaning or waiting on standby by for cultivators. Shin Ling ran around the sect but only ran into other confused cultivators. Running to his fathers courtyard, he finally saw his dad after months yet he notice a difference instantly. His cultivation was completely undetectable. He had broken out of the mortal realm!
"Father! You've done it! You've broken into the immoral ranks! You'll be brought to the capital city as a royal cultivator and our names will be honored in all of the mainland!
The sect master jumped when her heard Shin Lings voice. He really didn't want to run into his son at this moment.
*clear throat* Um...Yes Ling'er I have. Yet, there is still much to do before I can depart to the capital. I am busy and will discuss things with you later. Yet, try to keep this quiet for now." The still irritated sect master responded before turning to leave quickly.
Remembering why he arrived he spoke to his father with urgency.
"Father the servants! They have all vanished."
"I know, I'm looking into it now." And continued to walk.
"But..! Where is HE." It was at this, is when the sect master stopped.
"He is none of your concern and whatever grudge that you have with him end it now, or else!" And left the courtyard and walked into his sect building.
He knew something and he would not tell his own son! First the embarrasses me, then he turns his own father against him. His father had NEVER threatened him and now he tells, 'or1 else'?"
The fury in his heart burned like never before. He he went to his underlings. The fraud had to die and by his hand!
...An Undisclosed Secret Assembly Location
"The four sects have gathered for an emergency meeting in regards the Heavenly Ascension Sect."
All of the men present were all powerful peak Transcendent Cultivators and the oldest and most powerful members of their sect. An ancient looking Elder in purple robes representing the Demons Fang Sect spoke first.
Another man in light blue and white robes with a blue dragon elaborately stitched into the edges of the robe was the Elder from the Thunder Stone sect, Tao Tao. "Ti Zi, we have been over this countless times. We cannot move on Mu Shin with his protection from the capital. What do you have now that any of us already doesn't?"
The man in the orange robes nodded, this was the elder from the Rising Phoenix Sect, Chin Zao.
Green robed man Sun Shu from the Grand Lotus sect spoke, "let's get this over with Ti Zi." The man said crossing his arms over this chest.
The old man had a smile that didn't spread across his face.
"It seems word of our newcomer has reach the crown prince eyes and he has delayed Emperors summons and given us a window. It is time. My spies days their was a disturbance and the city will be on turmoil for the foreseeable future. There has been a mass disappearance of mortals but their cultivators were not affected only the mortals. None of that matters we can move without being spotted and set up teams to infiltrate until we launch our attack. Their is no rush we will slowly send in small numbers of teams every day for a few months until we have enough to attack internally. Agreed?"
No one spoke up. "So we are all in agreement, we attack in 2 months time."
All of the sect leaders dispersed to their sects to inform their sect masters of their plans.
.....The Capital City, the Immortal Dao Sect
The crown prince was currently in bed with his 4 concubines. The women were giggling and moaning to pleasure. After hours wild sex, the last beautiful woman climaxed and passed out shortly after. The crown prince smile to himself walked over to a table and poured another glass of wine and looked over the scroll he received.
The idiot son of his fathers, his prized sect master finally delivered useful information. He informed that he had an issues that required assistance from his immortals under his command. He swore that on their friendship he would repay them. He informed that his father had become an immortal and that he'd easily be able to pay for the cultivators. The only reason he agreed to the fool was because of the mention of a full unknown bloodline. The prince wanted to capture him and claim it for himself. Apparently it was a young child and he destroyed the examination stone completely. Even the prince was impressed. Yes, I'll claim that boy and extract his blood and its consumption would add to my power, he thought. He sent off for a servant to go fulfill his request. The back water mortal city just became a bit more interesting.
...Back in the Under Ground bunker
I week after the people had arrived, Damien had tens of millions that had instantly become his followers and added to his DP and his ability to now began to expand his grey core. He now can continue to grow stronger in all aspects at once. In fact, it would be the first time he would try. Yet, now wasn't that time. Of course, fate always has other plans, even if you are part god it seems. He had to fix these people that bowed to him the rest he would leave to their own devices. He kept the 40,000,000 out of the over 100,000,000 that he had transported. Many wanted nothings to do with magic or Damiens god. Those were the ones Damien sent back. What ever happened to them would be their own faults. Damien had no ties to these people or their desires. He only needed to claim followers.
This situation opened Damien's mind. Why not convert this entire plane? Cultivators are ruled by strength. Damien would have to show them they would have to submit to his rule or be exiled. He had looked for a way to overcome the power gap of the Gods and he may have just found it. This massive planet would be his farming location.
The people who remained in the bunker were currently all exploring their new homes. A magical enhancement chamber did just that. It teaches you known spells at your level to advance. Damien provided the basics mana, channeling from a mana pool or mana core. Many pure mages had evolved with mana cores. Luckily all of the pue mages had stayed. Damien knew some hidden gems were among this group. Pure blood mages were insanely power and would advance differently than Damascus mages. They had to begin learning instant cast to compensate for the powers of cultivators. They too could learn martial techniques for weapons and hand to hand combat. They would need to incorporate mana into their attacks or around themselves and their weapons. That would help then fight on par with cultivators when they got close. From a distance, mages held the advantage usually. At least outside of mysterious and powerful cultivators techniques.
The entire bunker, was actually a city. Damien reinforced the roof with immortal stone that he absorbed from the sect. Its elements were not natural and he had to spend months to input enough immoral energy into a block to create it. He then used the stone he to layer the entire wall of the bunker with the immortal stones to protect against unwanted visitors. Damien created a Aether barrier as second defense. Damien prided himself on having powerful defenses. He walked through and recreated hundreds of modern type homes and roads. Damien loved to have some familiarity wherever he had to remain for long periods of time. He also created a portal tower made with space runes. It was not activated yet of course and would not be until the first mages master their control and at least one element.
The training rooms were fill with robotic humanoids that guided with instructions and sparred upon request. They were massive square buildings made of grey self repairing stones. Damien made them all study magic 24/7....literally. He turned their lives into a magical boot camp. The mornings were full of physical training, each mastering one weapon. Which they all thought to be impossible. Their bodies were beyond tired especially for the youth and the elderly that remained. The evenings and nights were filled with magical studies and
Yet, once all of the people had successfully linked their bodies with their mana pools or cores they noticed a change. Day by day, their minds had become much sharper. Their reflexes had become quicker, their stamina increased, even their physical strength began to grow. Old men and women had the greatest physical change and began moving like their youthful selves. They weren't able to become cultivators so they were stuck with if life as a slave or peasant.
By the end of the first week many of the now mages were engrossed in their training studies. Even though part of their train ling was no sleep until they master their primary element. For others, the must master one of the multiple elements they possess at the very least. The new mages soon learned that their lack if need to sleep was bone. They all became engrossed in magical studies and perfecting their skill. Damien let them know that they were the first mages and that they should mirror the pride of any cultivators. For they too no longer belonged to the mortal realm. With this Damien continued their mage training and began to work in his own power. He didn't know what new threats were on the horizon and he wanted to be ready.
