That was very considerate of him but Ivy couldn't help but wonder why Carson cared enough to bother with such a hassle. It wasn't like they had been all that close before she went away.
"I'd appreciate the help," she confessed. "Just thinking about how much I missed makes my head hurt."
"Don't you worry about a thing! I've got your back. Speaking of…when will you be back in school?"
Ivy sighed. "Tomorrow. I didn't want to miss another day. I know there is only a week and a half left until Christmas break and I won't be able to take finals on time but I don't want to make things worse."
It was stupid because she could totally pass her finals if they were multiple choice by picking the answers out of her classmates' heads but she would never be able to explain that to her teachers. So she would have to wait and be forced to study for herself for once.
"Makes sense. I'll see you tomorrow then. Sleep well, Ivy. I'm glad you're okay," Carson said.
