To be honest, I just wanna throw my alarm clock and sleep this day away.
But, I can't. The team needs me and the deadline for finishing the demo so we can start recording is today.
Life of being a music producer was never easy. There are times that we don't get to spend the holidays with our families. We often lack sleep and the work schedule is crazy.
But this is my dream, this is what I've always wanted to do. So, how can I complain?
Well, it's my fault anyway. I shouldn't have gone to Jason when he called me at 1am asking me to fetch him because he drank with his college friends.
Jason. He is my best friend. My favorite person. My strength and my weakness.
He is my first (and hopefully, last) love.
We've known each other since we were kids, we've been through a lot together and saved each other in times of trouble.
if soulmates are real, then I think he's my soulmate.

'Mom, I want to play outside. Can I? Please?'
'Are you done memorizing what I asked you to memorize?' Mom asked with an accusing stare.
'Yes, Mom. I have everything saved here in my head' while pointing to my head with a pen.
'Alright then, what's 15x12?' Mom asked right away.
'180.'
'12x11?'
'132.'
'Okay, you can go'. Mom said with her unbothered expression while reading this month's Reader's Digest.
I was born in a family of businessmen. Me and my older brother, Austin, were told that we'll be taking over the business when we grow up. My family has been managing an Entertainment company for over 20 years and my parents are dedicated in making sure that we'll continue the family's legacy.
But, I'm just 10. I don't care about Math! I want to eat and play and have a lot of friends. We're just new in this neighborhood and I hope I can have new friends.
So, as I step out of our house, I rode my bicycle and went to the playground of the Subdivision.
I saw a lot of kids and I'm so excited! I ran and asked a girl wearing a pink dress if I can play with her.
'Sorry, but I don't play with kids that I've just met. What's on your hands? You're gross! Hey everyone, look at her! Her hands looked disgusting! Do you want to play with someone who looked like that?'
She was pointing at me while looking at the other kids that was on the playground. The kids started laughing and started yelling...
'Eeeew!'
'Gross!'
'Don't go near us!'
'Go home! We don't want you here!'
I looked at my hands and saw that my palms have stains of ink from the pen I was using when I was studying earlier.
I feel embarrassed and scared. I was about to get into my bike and go home when I heard someone screamed...
'Why are you being mean to her? Those are ink on her hands. What's disgusting about ink? Do I have to tell my Dad what you did so you can't play in this playground again?'
What was that? Was that even a voice? It sounded like a song...
