Eo woke up when his head hit a wall.
(Ow, did I just hit my head again?)
Eo's head hit the floor again.
(Ow, that hurts!)
Eo just realized he was on a moving vehicle. He sat up and rubbed his head, which was sore.
"What just… where am I?"
Eo looked around himself. He noticed he was seatbelted in the back of what seemed to be a moving van.
"I've woken up in a mysterious van after getting hit in the head unconscious. If I'm going to be kidnapped, I better be getting my free candy."
"You're funny, Eo."
Eo turned around and saw Reya seated behind him.
"Huh? You're here too?"
"Yeah. By the way, we're not getting kidnapped. After you decided to test the hardness of your skull on the pavement, Seraph decided to swoop in and save us."
"Seraph? Who dat?"
Reya gestured towards the driver. Eo craned his neck to see. The driver turned around and flashed a smile.
"Hey! I'm Seraph!"
Reya shuddered in excitement.
"Seraph, is, like, so cool! She managed to down the Bear- and Sykhus- type all by herself! She couldn't kill the Phoenix, but she managed to drive it away."
"Um… what does a Sykhus-type do again?"
"Remember? The bird thingy with bone feathers it shoots out?"
"Oh, I keep mixing it up with the Phoenix."
"They look nothing alike."
"S-Same difference."
"Huh?"
Eo looked out of the window.
"So where are we going?"
"Reya told me we were going to place some trap in front of the Phase IV Magmus-type. So, after finding out where it was heading, we're racing off to put the trap in place. Good thing you woke up now, because if you didn't, all of this would be quite pointless."
Eo yawned. "So it was a Magmus-type, right?"
"Correct."
"I have no idea what that is."
"... You know what? You can see for yourself when you get there."
Eo closed his eyes during the ride. He knew that there was Phase IV, but he had only felt its presence from its massive aura. He also remembered its silhouette (because he had only seen it during the night).
Eo forgot what the silhouette looked like. He just decided to sleep.
Thirty minutes later, the van jolted to a halt. Eo lurched forwards, hitting his head on a wall.
"Ow… are we there?"
"Yep," Seraph replied. "Get off."
