"Lia ... LIA WAKE UP" mum shouts as she stumps towards my curtains and draws them out exposing me to light "you are going to be late!" In distress she grabs my duvet in such force I hear It let out a cry, I mumble a scream as I press my face onto the pillow, hugging it refusing to let go, "Lia don't get me started, get up NOW!" Feeling her negative aura invading my personal space I roll my eyes and sit up finding myself staring at her, she grins and grabs my clothes and dashes them at my face, by the time I looked up to say something she was gone.
Sleeping throughout this dreadful day seemed ideal however going to high school was inevitable. Coming towards a conclusion I throw myself out of bed and grab my clothes to get ready.
I run down stairs and grab my bag ready to leave- at the door stood my dad he reaches out for a hug and whispers beneath my ears "good luck sweetheart" I gave him a nod and i made my exit.
So many thoughts were running through my head while I cycled to school,
all i find myself thinking about on this bright beautiful day is what if -
what if it is like last time...
Recollecting my thoughts I park the bike and as I face the school I get a clear view of all the jocks, the mean girls, the geeks and pretty much all the groups that could ever exist in high school, Typical. I grab my bag and walk towards the entrance where the cheerleaders hung out, they were talking about boys and prom as if their whole life revolved around that, as I enter the building I felt a sudden rush of a cold feeling like I have entered the beginning of the end.
Eyes were targeting my soul i heard whispers and laughter, something wasn't right. I turn around to see a tall, strangely handsome guy with blue eyes that shone like the sky he was staring at me standing there, staring. What a weirdo. Everyone around me were staring at me- him; he must be the self-absorbed stuck up idiot who only depends on his parents for money (every school has one) he winks and I screw him. I turn around not breaking contact, looking at everyone I start walking away with my head down.
It did not matter who he was, I will not be used like an object again, not now, not EVER.
