"ADRIEN!" Joshua's voice echoes across the halls with excitement - weird.. last time he was this excited was when his voice first cracked. He walks towards me with the sneakiest smirk scribbled all over his face.
Joshua starts walking towards me still maintaining that specific smirk. It took me a split second to realise why he was smiling, he was holding THE book. The atmosphere quickly shifted and i smile with a sudden urge of mischief.
The book was like a game, there was no rules but one:
- She falls for you, don't fall for her.
The rules of this game was made to mess with ones emotion, to break girls heart. I created the book with Joshua a few years back, it contains all the girls in our school's names and our ultimate goal was to break each of their hearts by making them fall for us.
I haven't seen this book in weeks, or months - all the girls in our school have already fallen for at least one of us once...
Seeing the book meant one thing, there is a new girl in town.
"So who is she" i say in confidence , he slowly pats my back and giggles "her name is Lia Tes, no one knows why exactly she moved but she is here.." Lia Tes. I love a mystery, I will go easy on her as she is new. "Fine list her down as my next target" I smile.
We start walking down to our first lesson and i think of how this would all play out - my thoughts get disturbed as i notice that everyone was crowded into one corner, where she was standing.
She had long dark hair that complemented her green eyes and symmetrical face.
There was no words..
She was beautiful. Perfect; a perfect target.
The attention then shifts to me and her attention is on me too. Her green eyes stare me down in disgust and judgement i decide to mock her actions by winking at her, she swiftly turns around i couldn't tell what she was doing but i bet she was blushing.
This was going to be easy.
"so what do you think" Joshua taps me on the shoulder, i stare at her walking away and smile "she has already fallen for me." I whisper to him and i begin to follow her.
As I get closer I get this feeling,
I wanted to hurt her more than I ever wanted to hurt anyone. I wanted to drain her from her happiness, It's a strange feeling that I cant explain, I wanted to leave her scarred and broken, there was something about her.
this weird urge struck me out of nowhere, I wanted her to pay for my pain.
This was my game to play, my feet controlling themselves ran up to her and I was forced to begin my act.
"Hey wait up".
