My name is Neko. Or in the english translation, my name means 'cat'.Â
My mother gave me my name after first seeing my eyes. They were not normal. They were a different color, unique and my pupils, slits like a cats. I had two different colored eyes. 1 was a Crystal blue. The other a forest green. My eyes were unique due to a mutation and my mother gasped in shock when she first saw them.Â
Granted, her natural eye color was brown. My dad's were black. So my eye color was a mutation and from my parents family ancestors which were all over the place in history somewhere.Â
Although both families were unique. And I got the short end of the stick or a jackpot depending on who asks.Â
In any case, I was homeschooled most of my life. My eyes just made it impossible to live a normal life and I steadily developed a fear of being in groups of people for long periods of time.Â
I was an introvert and the behavior only became worse as everywhere I went, the first thing people would do was gasp in shock. My eyes caused such a stir to the point where crowds began to gather when I was just in a trip to the store with my mom.Â
By the time I became 13, I began wearing colored contacts and it worked somewhat. The contacts however, were uncomfortable at the start but I steadily got used to them.Â
Around the time I turned 14, my mom had asked me to go to a normal school with other kids now that I had my contacts. I reluctantly agreed as I owed the woman everything. She helped me and doted on me very much. My dad is also the same but on a much calmer scale.Â
Agreeing, I went to public school for the first time since I was a toddler and for the next 3 years, I loathed all the boys who tried to confess to me. I had inadvertently inherited my mothers looks as well as my fathers calm and collected expression as he needed it to survive extreme situations when he was young and free-climbed the tallest cliffs as well as dove to the depths to the sea and caribbean.Â
This only increased my popularity with the boys and earned the ire of many, many heartbroken and jealous girls.Â
Although, one day, it got really bad when a group of girls ambushed me in the girls bathroom and started pushing me around.
Fortunately, this was also the same day I met a new type of person.Â
"Tch! SHUT THE HELL UP!!!" The bathroom stall door came off its hinges as a delinquent looking girl exited the stall with a tired and pissed off expression. "You girls better scram before I start kicking your asses into a coma-"
Her shouting scared off the group of girls and ran into me as they left the bathroom. I shakily stood up but realized my contact for one of my eyes had fallen off. My gaze met with the delinquent girls in the mirror but she was in the middle of a yawn. Hiding away my face with my hand, I dropped to the floor and began frantically searching for my lost contact.Â
"Don't bother... I already saw it. "I froze stiffly and rose to greet her gaze which was a few inches above mine and I was already tall at 5'6. "You really… have a beautiful eye. Is that your real one? Your eyes?"
I frowned but said nothing and glanced at her shoe which is where I found my contact. Leaning down, I stopped when her foot stepped on it and I remained passive.Â
"Why are you not answering?" She spoke with indifference in her voice. "I heard rumors about your eyes. You know. Many think you are a demon or something. They said that your eyes were talked about by the people in the area around the neighborhood. "I said nothing and instead, out my hand to my other eye and removed the contact to reveal my two natural eyes. "You look even more beautiful now that you showed your real eyes to me. Weird. "
"Have a good look. "My voice was cold and I felt it was over now that she had seen my eye and was going to tell everyone I was the one that caused those rumors to spread. "Now that you saw them, I can only ask that you keep quiet. "
"Oh? You think this is enough to keep my mouth shut? Girl, you are delusional. "She then walked forward and cornered me on the wall as she met my eyes and lifted my chin. "You can buy my silence only if you let me have you."
"...Grrr!" I was enraged and embarrassed as in the past, many would either laugh at me or bully me even more. "You are twist-"
A sound smooching noise echoed in the quiet bathroom. She had kissed me on my neck and sucked which resulted in me grunting forcefully.Â
"You are mine now. "She looked at me with such an intense gaze that it made my legs squirm. "Your mine little kitty~ I only bothered to come to school to meet the alleged 'cat-eyes' but to my surprise, the illusive owner is nothing but such a cute and scared little girl. "
She then turned and left the bathroom as I collapsed under my weight and regulated by breathing that I didn't even know I was short of breath with.Â

I had to sneak back to my locker and take out a spare case of contacts and put them on in the spot. As I was going to close my locker door, I saw my reflection in the built-in mirror and was stunned there was a petal-like rose colored mark on my pale white neck. I still had a blush but it grew more intense when I slightly raised my hand and traced it with my fingers.Â
Pouting after remembering her arrogant behavior, I clicked my tongue and moved to grab a square band-aid and applied it to the hickey.
I then shut the locker door and went back to class late.
