Chapter 31 - Chapter 30: "True Feelings Behind A Stupid Heart"

Her bright smile showed me, all the happiness to know that her parents have really liked me but, they acted strict which was quite common for any parent.

"I don't know what you did—" she sighed.

"--how you did when I was in the bed for three months," she chuckled, looking at them.

I could see her soft cheeks asking me to kiss.

She laughingly, added, "He likes you very much but not more than me." She looked at me.

I smiled, looking down and requested, "Can we change the topic?"

"Ahaa! Ahaa! Blushing?" she teased.

I couldn't stop my face turning into red, and I turned my face away when I looked at her staring at me, with a stupid smile on her face.

"Hey! Love birds," Bhargav called us, standing near the receptionist.

It was really embarrassing as everyone's eye fell on us.

"Let's go to the rooms," he added.

"Yes, coming!" we both said and followed after them to the lift. It had a small screen on the top of the lift, showing the lift stood on the third floor.

Bhargav pressed the button of the lift.

"Which floor we have to go in?" I asked, leaning on Bhargav's shoulder.

"3rd floor," Harini answered, looking up at the screen.

As the lift door opened, I saw a guy with the hairs coloured red from the front. He was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. By looking at his body language, my mind was striking someone I know. While the air was going in and out between us, he stood inside the lift, staring at Harini.

"He might be--"

Bhargav, Harini and Prachi made a way for him to leave, so that, they could get in but, he wasn't moving from the lift.

"Are you going up?" Prachi snapped her fingers in front of his eyes.

He blinked his eyes and nodded.

We entered the lift with an awkward sigh. My eyes were on him, trying to recollect my memories.

As the lift started moving up, Harini held my shirt tightly.

I grabbed her in my arms and told her not to worry.

"I am not--," she leaned her face on my chest.

I smiled; kissed on her forehead, and we stopped at the third floor.

"Room number?" Prachi asked, walking out after them.

"301& 302," said Bhargav, looking at the left side.

Harini hit his head and pointed towards right.

While I was exiting the lift, I turned back to him. He avoided the eye contact.

"You are--" I stood in between the floor and the lift. "—Aryan, aren't you?"

Prachi yelled at me to not to stand in the middle. As soon as she pulled me outside of the lift, he hit the button to go down.

"What were you doing with that guy?" she asked, angrily.

"Aryan, there's no reason to be angry on you, anymore for anyone."

"Hello, mister—can you hear my voice?" she asked.

While my other two idiots were teasing each other at the 301/2 room, I had to apologise her for no reason.

"Just fucking tell me, why?" she burst out.

"Why so serious, baby?" I moved my hands on her face.

She closed her eyes and blushed, "You are distracting me!"

"But," she pushed my hands and asked that whether I know him or not.

"Fine. I thought he is our friend from school," I justified.

"And what do you think his name would be?"

"Aryan!"

"Why are you coming up with this name now?" Harini asked, furiously looking at me.

"Aryan?" Bhargav giggled.

"Ye—Yes! I'm definitely sure that he was Aryan," I claimed.

"Are you sure?" Prachi asked, convincingly.

"No doubt about it!"

"Then we'll just go down and talk to him. If he is really Aryan, then that would be amazing," excited Prachi.

We agreed.

Harini cleared her throat to get the attention and pointed, " Enough chatting in the corridor-- Nobody's going either up or down."

Bhargav smoothly, said, "It's high time to forget--"

"--Room No. 301 is for me and Prachi, and 302 is for you and Bhargav!" she said to me.

"Ok, that's great!" Prachi and I said.

Bhargav sighed.

"No, they didn't have a sex yet," Bhargav put his words, daringly.

"Ok, he have a point!" we said.

Prachi and I laughs as our words were coming out, coincidentally.

"No, I can't sleep with a boy in a hotel," she justified.

"I'll pretend like a girl, and you treat me as a girl."

"That's not happening!" she walked, unlocking the 301 room.

She threw at me the other key, and asked me to apologize her for not letting us sleep together.

"Apology rejected!" Bhargav rolled his eyes on her.

She ignored him and walked inside the room.

"See, how rude she is becoming!" he complained, glaring at her.

"Bhargav, it's ok! Thanks," Prachi said, walking inside the room.

She gestured me to meet afterwards before locking the door.

I smiled.

"I was talking for me, Prachi!" he whispered.

Entering the 302 room, I said, "I knew already!"

As I switched on the lights, I saw the room decorated well with the top-level arts collection, and it had a beautiful fragrance to breathe in. Bhargav was glancing the out view and the bathroom.

"Ah!" he screamed.

I ran towards him, asking what has happened.

"How beautiful the bathroom is!" he excited.

I sighed.

We walked to the bedroom, and I threw me on the bed and closed my eyes.

"Do you like Harini, Bhargav?" I asked, looking at the ceiling.

He turned on the AC and took a seat beside me.

"No but, I like you and Prachi," he said, lowering his voice.

"There's something I'd like to confess you—"

"--Harini and I--," I said.

He ignored my words and continued, "I feel that—you people need some time together after—after what has happened to her."

"I barely saw you as you after her accident."

"Later that—It went to the peaks stage when your mother dies in front of us."

"I couldn't bare your loss if I were you, Ragh!" he said, rolling tears on the cheeks.

I was understanding the pain in every words, he was spitting out. For a moment, I felt that he outclassed his character.

"You lived a life-like hell for three months with no love around, which is impossible."

He laid on the bed and continued, "Now, for me, only you two matters the most. If anything happened wrong between you both, I sworn to kill you, Ragh!" he said.

We turned at each other.

"It was only about sex but, thanks for this—I mean, whatever you said!" I smiled.

"What rubbish are you talking?" he lowered his brows. "I wanted to spend my time with a girl, at least here in Lonavala, and now, I'm staying with you! It's an unbearable sin," he threw a pillow on me.

"If you held my back, now, I would've sat with Harini," he blushed.

"It's all because of you, Bastard!" he shouted.

"What a piece of shit you are!" I kicked his butt and laughed.

"But his feelings are real"

There was another Bhargav when I saw in his eyes that night. He had never deliberately delivered such a strong emotions with a thin voice.

"I was joking about you, don't take it seriously!" he winked and asked, "You were saying something about you and Harini. What is it?" he asked, lowering his brows.

"Should I tell him?"

"Maybe not now."

"No—Nothing important," I stammered.

"Wake me up at thirty past ten, Bhargav!"

The door bell rings.

Bhargav walked to the door and opened it.

"Yeah, who's this?" he asked.

His voice was coming low because of the distance.

"Bhargav, who's there?"

Suddenly, I heard Aryan.
